How trains work.
So the trains move independently of the player and are scripted as follows: the train arrives at the station, catches a trigger there that forces it to stop and open the doors. After about 15 seconds, the doors close and the train moves to the next station. And so on until it hits a dead end, at which point it goes back. Warning!! Trains can hit you!! Take care of yourself and your loved ones.
