LORE:
Sir Daniel Wigginbottom Fortesque IV, was a knight of Gallowmere who became the King’s Champion and the Head of the Royal Battalion. His life was cut short in the Battle of Gallowmere against the evil sorcerer Zarok, where he was killed by the first volley of arrows.

A hundred years later, Sir Dan was mistakenly resurrected by Zarok's magic. Dan used this opportunity to live up to his legend and defeated the sorcerer once and for all, thus gaining access to the afterlife’s Hall of Heroes.

By 1886, Dan's skeletal remains were moved into the British Museum in Kensington, London, where he was once again resurrected, this time by the ruthless Lord Palethorn. After Palethorn's defeat, Sir Dan and his newfound love chose to travel back in time using Kift's time machine, but they were tragically separated during their journey.

Dan was returned to his own lifetime and quickly employed by Gallowmere's fairies to help preserve the flow of history. Dan ended up swapping bodies with his still living self in order to boost the morale of Gallowmere’s army and to die as he once had, thus securing Gallowmere's victory in the battle against Zarok and condemning himself to an eternity of reliving his undead adventures.

Now this is a story of one of Sir Daniel Fortesque's "Undead Adventures", risen again by the power of nightmare fuel and proving his bravery to conquer Maxwell in the wilderness lands of Don't Starve Together.

*Skill Set:
-Skull Tree: Allows to socket a new eye and to provide fishing benefits with the help of Morten.
-Undeath Tree: Aims to provide bonuses for slaying foes, recruiting knights, also sanity and healing bonuses.
-Backbone Tree: Aims to provide a shield ability and bolster defense.

*Shield System:
-Shields can be crafted by Sir Dan, which are equipped to its own equipment slot.
-While a shield is equipped, holding down the Right Click on the mouse to raise the shield up.
-Guard at the correct time and direction to ward off all damage to character.
-All damage is absorbed into the shield


*Souls Gathering System:
-Defeat enemies to draw out their souls. The Chalice Soul Badge UI, will become less transparent until the max of 100% is reached. 100 souls can be exchanged to a Chalice Altar for the "Chalice of Souls". There are 20 Chalice Altars in total, scattered around the surface and in the caves.


*Hall of Heroes: Chalice of Souls Questing system:
-Chalice of Souls: Can be offered to the Runestone located at the Hall of Heroes. Various of rewards will be rewarded... Weapons, Life Bottles, and the ability to learn how to craft them.
-Collect and offer all 20 Chalice of Souls!
-After all Chalices have been offered, bonus spoils can be rewarded for any chalice after!


*Life bottle and Life Energy System:
-Sir Dan's character health is quite low at 60. However Life Bottles and Fountains of Rejuvenation can help our hero in the time of need!
-Life Bottles: allows Dan to store extra Life Energy past his Max health, used to avoid death, and to heal others with Good Lightning. Life Bottles can be rewarded from the Hall of Heroes Questing (3) and the rest for Defeated Boss type encounters. Up to a Maxium of 9 Life Bottles can be carried.
-Fountain of Revenation: well springs of life that are found around the map, they can heal Dan up to 120 health/energy. First they heal the main health then any excess will fill Life Bottles that are carried. Fountains refill each Full Moon!!
-Energy Vials are small amounts of Life Energy that can be carried and used when the time is needed. They can heal 30 health or restore 30 energy to a bottle. These handy vials can be found various of ways.

*Rune System:
-Collect Runes which are found in many different places.
-Can be equipped to the "RUNE" Slot for Normal Players or in the Rune Holder for Sir Dan Players.
-For Sir Dan a "Handy" helper is given, the Rune Holder. Which will keep the ruins safe and freeing up your inventory.
-Runes: Provide Stacking effects for Sir Dan or Enchanced effect for Normal Players.

-Jack of the Green and The Asylum Grounds has been added as an Island.
-Explore his huge island for hidden goodies!

--Answer his 4 Quest riddles with Sir Daniel and find the trampled Book of Gallowmere, to unlock endless Book of Gallowmere Riddles.

-Book of Gallowmere Riddles: 50+ hand drafted riddles for all players to solve.
--Give the correct item and receive rewards. Answer 4 and get a rare bonus item.
--Restore the Book of Gallowmere

-New Boss: The Overgrown Rook
--Must be killed in the chess room!
--Few rewards including the trampled Book of Gallowmere.
