Akutan Island Defense

The Island of Akutan is under siege from an enemy carrier group. Sink the carrier before it can begin to stage an invasion of the island.

This scenario is designed for up to 4 players and features the F/A-26, F-45, and the A/V-42C as playable vehicles.

Prepare to deal with a mix of air and naval threats, including multiple waves of enemy fighters, a large sortie of hostile carrier-based fighters, and a potent enemy carrier group. The island of Akutan has been reinforced with some friendly SAM and MANPAD units to help give you cover, so be sure to use them to your advantage.

This mission is moderately difficult for a single player, but is rather easy with 2-4 players working together. Due to the short-range engagement distances, this also makes for a great way to practice dogfighting skills and missile evasion.
