Intentions: planet escape, transport, multi purpose

The Silurus (catfish) is your "get off the planet asap"-ship with the capacity to perform much more. With is upgrade capacity and the decent cargo space of 2 x 18k, the Silurus can serve as your everyday hauler or short distance auto miner servicer.
The small landing pad provides you with the possibility to carry a small SV such as a miner with you. Alternatively, you can fit more guns on it.

Upgrade your ship

There are some spots for turrets (white marks) and cannons (square tubes) indicated with the option of converting the landing pad to turret space.
I left the cargo containers in their original texture to give a hint where to add more or where to replace them with steel - choose whatever serves you more.

Thruster upgrades are indicated with round tubes. Fully upgraded, the supposed thruster upgrades provide enough thrust for a reinforced hull at full cargo.

There is dedicated space for CPU extenders as well a spot for the shield and more generators.

Work and Cargo

There are an O2 station, a fridge and an armour locker preinstalled, with dedicated space for one more fridge and two constructors.
Two cargo bays provide you with 36k cargo. In addtion to that, the Silurus comes with three additional cargo boxes.
For Reforged Eden players, there is a dedicatet spot for the trauma station.

Defence

The stock Silurus comes without a shield, however the dedicated spot is marked. The CPU restriction means no turret in the stock version. Should you plan to travel to hostile areas, make sure you save up for additional CPU extenders, a shield and weapons in advance.
