Description
Metal Gear Solid Inspired Health Bar HUD addon for Garry's Mod. Replaces the boring-ass default Half Life 2 Health Bar with something more "Old-School" from the good ol' PSX days. The perfect addon for those who are into cardboard boxes.



Features:
  • Dynamic LIFE and ARMOR Bar inspired by Metal Gear Solid 1 & 2. Damage dealt to player will cause the bar to turn red according to how much damage you sustain. When your LIFE reaches zero, the game is over. There are no continues, my friend...

  • The LIFE Bar changes color according to how much health the player has.

  • The ARMOR Bar will not show if the player has 0 Armor.

  • The size of the bars has been adjusted to accommodate both modern players playing on a Widescreen 16:9 Aspect Ratio and old-school players playing on a Stretched 4:3 Aspect Ratio (for that sweet nostalgia of the early 2000s)

Limitations:
  • This addon is intended to be used mainly when playing Custom, Objective-Based Half Life 2 maps. It has also only been tested for Single Player matches, so there may be unnoticed bugs during Multiplayer matches.

  • The code of this addon was not tested or designed for moments when your LIFE goes above the 100% threshold.
