Automatically a great mod since this really should be sandbox options. There are a couple glaring issues that aren't present in the vanilla debug mode feature but it's very useful nonetheless.

1. An item can only be deleted if it's in your default inventory. If it's in a backpack, container, on the ground, etc there won't be an option to delete. This is extremely annoying even with the 'Disassemble Container With Items' mod to alleviate the problem while leveling carpentry/metalworking.
2. If an item stack is expanded (meaning you can see all the individual items in a stack of the same item) it won't show delete on the context menu for that item until you collapse it.
