Description
For times when you need force projection, and then some.

Intended use: with Barotraumatic mod on higher difficulties.

Recommended crew: 2-4 players with 2 maintenance and 2-4 gun operator bots

or you`ll rarely see fps counter go above 15

Features:
- Nuclear Torpedoing
- Drone Wrongdoing

- Driving the sub into a wall at full speed because you used up all energy reserves in engine’s capacitors

On more serious note

General stats:
- Top speed – 30 km/h on full boost, 15 km/h on empty capacitors
- Descent speed – 15 km/h, ascent speed – 18 km/h
- Cargo space – around 30 crates
- Price is 42,690 mk, some say it is still low but you are free to set it as low as possible (minimum is ~9k)

Offensive features:
- 4x Sonar-controlled nuclear torpedoes
- 1x Periscope-controlled recon & utility drone
- 1x Depth charge launcher
- 4x Coilguns
- 2x Autocannons
- 2x Heavy Railguns
- 1x Spinal Laser
- Auxillary SSL System (more torpedoes!)
- 3x Internal Security Chainguns
- 3x Discharge Coils
- Bulky, sturdy hull

Intel features:
- 4x CCTV cameras, one internal, three external, change by left click
- Various info screens and indicators for the captain
- Sensor suite inside gunnery compartment for easier target finding
- Mineral scanner beside bottom airlock

Utility features:
- Fast repair for engine, reactor & drone compartments by use of foam grenades (don’t put explosives instead of them *wink*)
- Toggleable smooth automatic reactor control
- Reactor parameters are customisable via a terminal (you will need to set new maximum for power generation each time you upgrade your reactor for automatic controls to work properly)
- Full fabrication suite, separate fabrication stations for military & general purposes
- Medical fabricator
- Research station
- Toggleable overdrive for engines (enabled manually), but be careful with that
- Each ballast tank has a separate switch for flora related contingencies – when flipped, the water is drained and pumps are turned off

Miscellaneous features:
- You can engage lockdown of crew quarters, separating the sub into military & utility sections
- The bridge can be isolated from the sub in case of breaches, giving the captain either capability to remain in control of the sub or time to equip himself
- Torpedo bay is protected from the outside by a sliding door, but it is not invulnerable
- Engines are consuming more power than provided for them (without overdrive), so drive carefully or you wouldn’t be able to escape in a pinch

I did quite a bit of playtesting with the sub, it can definitely match most stuff what Barotraumatic can throw at it if the crew is cautious and know what they are doing, but still can be overwhelmed in seconds. Gun coverage has deliberate blindspots, some of them a remedied by SSL torpedoes, but they are an expensive solution :) Anyway, this sub was made to swing some balance back in favor of the crew while playing mods like Barotraumatic. We`ve had quite a blast with it so far in our current campaign, it is definitely OP for vanilla use, though.

Currently I’m waiting for the new update, probably will make a sidegrade by replacing torpedoes with a gunship to try those new guns.

I think I already broke it, sub won't descend anymore. It worked fine for a few minutes, we destroyed some spinelings and drove around, then we just went upwards and now the ballast tanks won't fill up.
