Worker Bee V3

Description
Also Includes previous versions & small utility ship collection.

Since the Worker bee version 1 and 2 designs I've been working on a way to incorporate the upgraded Connectors to produce a more fully modular system.
It's taken a while, but I now have something that I'm happy to roll out.

First off the workshop file contains quite a large number of things:

- Miscelaneous small ship platform. (Small utility ships. Just about every one I've built.

- Small Combat ship platform. (Library of all small combat ships designed to date.

- Worker Bee V1 Platform. (Contains all the ships I've built around the worker bee V1 chassis. If you want to know more about the design, look for the workshop item. (it should be in the same collection as this one.))

- Worker Bee V2 Platform. (Same as for Worker Bee V1. If you want to know more about the V2, check the workshop file)
(The worker bee V2 chassis will be compatible with the basic and extended modules for the V3. However the V2 will not have any cargo storage. Use of the V2 with XL or XXL modules will result in thruster damage.)

- Worker Bee V3 Platform.
The V3 platform contains a few ships and a large number of task oriented modules built around the new connection system. Cargo is stored in the ship itself rather than in the module, and cargo is loaded and unloaded directly by connectors rather than using a connector to collector system.

There are several different modules; Welding(red), Grinding(black), Drilling(green), Cargo(blue), Weapons(grey), Multi-tool(welder+grinder)(gold).
There are 4 possible sizes for these modules; Standard, Extended(for longer reach), XL, and XXL.
(not all modules are available in all sizes)
**Note on the Drill Modules** The drill modules are not set up for tunneling. They should be used for surface mining only. (With the exception of the XXL Drill module, which was designed to tunnel.)**

There are several ships under the Worker Bee V3 design. There may be more: (although this in a finished state, I hope to keep updating it as I find more things to add.)

Worker Bee Micro:
The micro is a minimalist design, with the bare minimum necessary to operate the system. It will offer satisfactory performance, and is cheap to build. However it has no onboard cargo storage of it's own and may encounter power/stability issues on some of the more demanding modules. Not rated for the weapons module, or for anything larger than Standard. This design is however backwards compatible with the V2 modules.

Worker Bee V2.5: (blue, gold stripe)
This was a Worker Bee V2 that was modified to bring it in line with the V3 system. The ship offers good performance although it is not compatible with XL or XXL modules due to thruster placement.

Worker Bee V3: (blue, gold stripe, grey trim)
Initial Version 3 design. Compatible with all modules. Pilot with care (especialy when flying without a module) - The gyros are sensitive and the forward thrust is very powerful. The gyros may be turned down to 70%, but I reccomend you put them at 100% for the operation of any XL or XXL modules.

Worker Bee V3m: (blue, gold stripe, green trim)
The V3m is a proper modular design. You will find two Cargo pods on the pads next to all the modules. The V3m is designed to accept interchangeable cargo pods and task modules. With the V3m you can simply drop off your cargo pod and pick up another one.
The V3m is fully compatible with all task modules, and should be backwards compatible with all the V2 modules too (although this hasn't been tested).

Worker Bee V3e (Blue, gold stripe, black trim)
Conversion of the basic V3 to run on battery power. Had to lose the large thrusters to fit the batteries in (replaced by a bank of small thrusters) but that doesn't hurt the design much. Other than that it's pretty much unchanged.

Worker Bee V3m (electric): (blue, gold stripe, red trim)
The same as the V3m, just it runs off batteries instead of reactors. Had to do some minor component repositioning to fit the batteries in, but functionality is the same. (power supply is actualy superior to that of the V3m.)
Also features a merge block on the upper surface. No purpose as of yet, but I plan to use it for charging the ship. (undecided on exact method right now.)

Notes on the connection system:
1) Because of the prescence of the merge blocks, the connectors can be a little bit finnicky at times. If you have trouble getting the connectors to join to each other, try toggling the merge blocks, that usualy sorts it.
2) To avoid problems with the connectors when dropping off a module, you should turn off both connectors before pressing P to disengage them. This should disengage the magnetic attraction and allow you to move away.
3) When picking up a module, approach from directly above. Be precise - the clearance is quite small. After dropping off a Module, move upwards to clear the module before anything else.

Enjoy. (and since I'm still adding to this, let me know if you think anything would make a good addition to the V3 system.)
