Description
Don't fight with torches!

Tired of the guards turning into absolute chaotic pyromaniacs as soon as the sun sets?
Despite fearing fire so much they don't even allow you to build a campfire on the outskirts of town, they set enemies on fire with no regard for fire safety at all.

I say no more!


Features

* Guards swap to halberd if they attack with a torch. * Furthermore, their torches can't set things on fire. * They will swap back again after they are done with fighting. * If you try to trade a torch with a guard they will equip their torch. * If you trade a torch with a hired guard already holding a torch they won't swap back to their halberd again. * If you trade a torch with a hired guard that won't swap to their halberd they will be able to swap again. * Hired guards won't swap their equipment depending on the time of day when indoors. * Hired guards will equip their torches when you enter any ruins. * Hired guards will re-equip the proper equipment for the time of day when you return outdoors.

Makes the Royal Guards a bit more clever about how and when they use their torches.

Don't reuse or republish my code on the workshop without my explicit permission. I've put a lot of time and hard work into creating this mod.

Please let me know if you encounter any bugs and I will try to resolve them! I've tried to test everything extensively, but I am just one person so I'm bound to have missed things.

This MOD is INSANE!! As a Hamlet veteran, my countless saves got roasted by torch-wielding guards until your 『Don't fight with torches!』—surgically removed torch attacks but kept lighting! Feather-light code, zero conflicts. Now I can build near Pig City without playing full-time firefighter! Experience upgraded from 『inferno』 to 『paradise』! TAKE MY KNEES! More god-tier MODs for us button-mashers, pls!
