Description

Description

The start of an american Legend. This is arguably one of the most iconic cars of all time.

This mod is an almost complete remake of the 2018 version of this mod with major parts being heavily remodeled, and finally added the much requested Fastback version.

Any chance you could list the motors/parts the cars use?

is there a way to add oil to the mid engine versions?

can somebody tell me what the name of the folder is? I need to create/adjust the config file but cant find the name of the folder for this car.

Please add a convertible option for this in a update. Also make it so we can put the 289 motor in the it would be more accurate than the 302.

I don't know if anyone has commented on this, but would it be possible for a convertible version of the Mustang to come in a future update?

Ohhhhhh, okay! I just checked in the Showroom. The i6 and the V8 versions are two different versions but with the same names. That makes more sense to me, sorry about that!

Wait, really? That's factually accurate that the '64 fastback has no V8 options? I don't know everything about this gen of Mustang but that feels a little weird to me. I might have to do some research but I thought the fastback version would've come with a V8.

@ CorndogCrusader - the fastback and standard are base model mustangs and base model mustangs were inline 6 cylinders. want a V8? look for the GT models, which have V8 options galore. this is more or less inline with actual gen1 mustang models - yes, you could have a 260ci V8 in the base trim, but that's kinda non-existent in the game, so why bother. the 289 (an absolutely fantastic engine, btw) in the GT package is in the game and makes a lot more sense in that regard. if you want to jam a 289 (or a 302 or a 429 CJ, hell - why not a modern mercedes V8 for grims?) into a standard, the car editor is your best bet.

there are some more esoteric 'stangs that the creator could work in if he so desired (a trans-am/gt350 coupe would be my fave) but in terms of covering all the bases, this package is remarkably complete.

@ CorndogCrusader I'm not an expert on Mustangs to know what engines were available in '64 but you can put any engine in any car with the in-game editor. Keep in mind it may require changing or modifying the exhaust to fit correctly. I understand that many people don't care to learn or use the in-game editor but for me it's the best part of the game. :)

I don't know if this is intentional but for some reason the 1964 Fastback has no V8 swap options. I don't know why that is, but I literally cannot put a V8 in it, which is dumb. I think unless this is fixed, I will just uninstall this mod. A Mustang car mod where you can't even have a V8 in it is just completely pointless. You should check all the different versions of this car and MAKE SURE they can have V8s in them, because at least the '64 Fastback can't.
