Just turn it on and it should work. The save icon may still be the old emblem, but otherwise it should totally switch unless there's a modconflict.

That would require changing the dwarf units' colour-assignments which would affect all factions and is kinda beyond the scope of the mod. If you find a mod which does that then this should sit on top of that no problem.
