R9X Hellfire

Description
Description
The R9X Hellfire is an air to ground missile designed to eliminate individual targets through kinetic energy alone.
Just before impact, the R9X unfolds 6 half meter long blades which slice through their target. The weapon is most effective at negating unwanted collateral damage whilst still retaining its stopping power.


Usage

In terms of arma usage, this missile can be attached to standard aircraft pylons and is capable of laser locking a target up to 6km away. It travels at 1600 km/h and strikes the target from above. It's kill radius is approximately 0.5m from the impact point.

If you intend to use these missiles with a modded aircraft, there is a chance it won't show up in the pylon menu. To overcome this, simply enter either of these code chunks into the init of the aircraft.
To load the R9X into all Pylons:
for "_i" from 1 to 100 do { this setPylonLoadout[_i, "J3FF_PylonRack_r9xHellfire", true] };

To load the R9X into just a specifed pylon (change the "1" to be the pylon number):
this setPylonLoadout[1, "J3FF_PylonRack_r9xHellfire", true]

Use "J3FF_PylonRack_x4_r9xHellfire" for the 4 pylon variant

Extra Info
Because of the way arma 3 works at the moment, this missile will do damage to vehicles and structures, often killing them in a single blow. I reccomend it's used soley on infantry.

The drone used in the video is the USAF MQ9 Reaper

@syven.lol Copying from a vanilla ammo will be the easiest yes. I suggest joining the Arma 3 discord as well, they have a very active community always willing to assist!

okay i have the models for the gbu43/B and the gbu57 bunkerbuster. Now i make a config file for the bomb? i see i have to make it a ammo type, can i just use the configs for another bomb edit it for my bomb and just scale up the values to match?

@syven.lol I used Blender for the 3d model and Substance Painter for the textures. Blender is free and has many tutorials. Substance Painter is paid, however Blender can create the textures, you dont need it.

Its good against light armour (BM-21S, Sedans, Trucks etc) But doesn't perform well against heavy armour which makes sense. Very good mod no complaints.

An easier way to do this in editor is to double click on Rotor-wing/airplane and go down to pylons, and select R9X.
