Blissey

Description
The Happiness Pokemon has stalled its way into Rivals! All Blissey have an egg inside their pouch, and even a singular bite makes anyone as pleasant as they are. However, this particular Blissey isn't interested in nursing people back to health, and is instead more focused on bringing destruction in the cutest way possible to the world of Rivals!

The Stats
Blissey is a very heavyweight fighter, in reference to its high HP stat in the mainline Pokemon games. It is very slow, however, but not so slow that it feels like you're playing Melee Bowser. Since it is so slow, and has such a big hitbox, it might get combo'd easily if you're not careful. It has two jumps, and no additional movement options.

Overall Playstyle
Blissey's playstyle was made to mimic how one would use Blissey in a competitive match. Mostly as a Special Wall, with some powerful stalling tools that over time, makes the opponent's health reach zero. So in Rivals, Blissey is a very heavy fighter, possibly one of the heaviest in the roster. However, their individual strikes don't deal a whole lot of damage. They mostly rely on using powerful zoning tools to quickly damage their opponents. Their strongest kill moves can be difficult to land, so usually fights with Blissey result in high damage percentages for both parties.

The Specials

Toxic
Blissey's Neutral Special is Toxic, a projectile that takes the form of a poison droplet. The droplet is launched at an upwards angle before plummeting downwards, badly poisoning anyone if the droplet hits them. If the droplet hits the ground, it creates a puddle reminiscent of Orcane's puddle, except this one deals damage and can badly poison anyone standing on it.

Bad Poison is different from Ranno's poison, and functions more like it does in the main series. It deals small damage every so often, and the longer a fighter is poisoned, the more damage they take whenever the poison does damage. The poison damage doubles around every 150 frames, or 2.5 seconds.

Seismic Toss
Blissey's Side Special is Seismic Toss, a move similar to that of Mii Brawler's Suplex move. It's a quick burst movement option that can grab opponents and deals damage to them upon landing. It never kills, though, so it's more for racking up damage than being a true kill option.

Teleport
Blissey's Up Special is a simple Teleport. You can move in any direction by tilting the control stick, it gives you invincibility while using it, and you get put into freefall after using it.

Soft-Boiled
Blissey's Down Special is Soft-Boiled. This is similar to moves like Falcon Punch or Warlock Punch, as it does take a long time to wind up, but unlike those moves, this move heals Blissey for 15% damage after that long startup time. It's a very punishable move, but one that gives you a great reward for using it properly.

The Normals

Double-Slap
Jab is Double Slap. It's a quick jab that has two hits and can quickly be spammed. It combos into itself, but opponents can also escape out of it fairly easily.

Charm
Forward Tilt and Forward Air are both Charm. Blissey shoots a heart shaped projectile forward, and any opponents hit by it will take small damage and take more damage from subsequent attacks for a few seconds.

Draining Kiss
Down Tilt is Draining Kiss. It's a slow, yet powerful move that heals you for 5% if you hit it and stuns the target for a long time, making it useful for combos.

Fling
Up Tilt and Up Air are both Fling. Blissey throws its egg upward. Any opponents hit by the egg get launched upward.
This is useful as a juggling tool and a combo tool.

Take Down and Double Edge
Dash Attack and Forward Strong are Take Down and Double Edge respectively. They both are powerful moves that deal damage to Blissey if they hit an opponent. They also both last a long time, but the power of both gets dialed down the longer the hitbox is out, so it's best to use them very close to your opponent so you get the early hitbox.

Disarming Voice
Neutral Air is Disarming Voice. When a fighter is hit by this move, they deal less damage to Blissey for a few seconds.

Egg Bomb
Back Air is Egg Bomb. Like with Fling, Blissey throws her egg, but unlike with Fling, the egg is thrown backwards and explodes on contact with an opponent, dealing a lot of damage and potentially killing too.

Gravity
Down Air is Gravity. Blissey places a void-like area below them, and any opponents that go into the void get spiked. It is a slower move, but the void lasts a long time and is a powerful spike.

Echoed Voice
Up Strong is Echoed Voice. Blissey screams above them, and landing this move consecutively without using any other moves makes it deal more damage and launch opponents further.

Body Slam
Down Strong is Body Slam. Blissey jumps up and then slams down onto the ground. The ground around Blissey shakes a bit, dealing damage to foes nearby, but if any foe is underneath Blissey when it slams down, the foe has a slight chance to get paralyzed, slowing down their overall movement speed.

Overall, Blissey's kit revolves around controlling the space around them and forcing the opponent to get close to them, which allows Blissey to get a KO with their strong, but low range, strongs. Their playstyle revolves around stalling your opponent for long enough until they get desperate and try to rush in, probably leading to a KO.
