Description
This mod simply makes Galactic Ruler a real survival game.

I have doubled the death rate of the all playable factions. The Population of the planets will not increase any more. You can just manipulate pop by sending planetary or stellar engineers to build outposts or colonies.

I have made this mod as the game lacks any pop control mechanics.

After my vigorous testings, the result is unfortunately the mod is Not save game compatible any more.

At the mining planets, at around 100 Mio pop the energy production stops raising and pop needs more and more ... so after some years later, it will have the next demand ... no technologie to stop growth ... so once again you need the cheat engine, or the game is broken, like in SR:U ... Devs told me they have played their game, but that is near impossible, as they don't see that their balance is broken ... the stupidest thing is , that the pop never is reduced, seems they take real earth as example, how stupid a race could be :steammocking: anyway because of overpopulation my game is already broken, even I have enough resources , but AI is already dead and it is boring to build always 2000 energy plants all 30 years, endless

Boosting agriculture to 175 % nearly doubles the birthrate but starving them pop causes nothing. With the testings I have made unfortunately I can confirm that the mod looks like not save game compatible.

Na that Rationing, does not change a little bit , apart domestic rating . Discussed already at the BG Forum :steammocking: Also sorry to say, the mod doesn't change birthrate, but would have been new with BG games, that it is possible to change something after you have started the game , only with restarting the save as a new game, but that isn't possible at GR

How is the transport rate of pop to other planets, it is needed or you will never produce anything there ... has deathrate any impact to that, if not it is cool.ATM even I have 10 colonies which get around 400 000 per transport , my homeplanet is already at 1.500 Mio ... hhhm I noticed no difference when I changed agrc. always got around 30 000 + ... even I like the game, the game play mechanics to influence anything, is near zero , apart tech researching. And you say it works with save game , okay will check that ... even the game is already boring, as all AI nations are already dead after 50 years . Maybe this mod could bring them back to live, when their pop are dead ... does pop die in your mod, when there is also energy shortage ... If not, please include that , it would help AI a lot . Devs refuse anything to balance their game, but we know that from SR:U :steammocking:

Life improvement techs looks to increase pop even with double death rate so if you do not roleplay avoid health related tech. In my current campaign my terran homeworld gets 1m pop increase which does not bother me at all. Plus maximising agriculture rations 175% pop increases double.Daily, I get 15k on +175% around half 8k on %25 agriculture rations with 100 days calendar roughly 800k difference.
