AT-4 Cumulo

Description
The first sub I made just to throw every idea I had at in my 10 hours of play before I started, Features include:
2 large turret mounts
2 coilguns
a depth charge launcher
4 photonic masts, their periscopes' triggers are hooked to the discharge coils
a full set of fabrication equipment
a greenhouse
4 ballast tanks, they used to be two but they were long enough I split them to help with flood control
a secure button to flood the reactor room if a fire gets out of control
and more odd stuff

Again my first sub so I have no idea if there's any unspoken rules to this, constructive feedback welcome.

Just made a quick timer for you, if it is what you already had and didn't want let me know and I can probably make what ur looking for. I published the timer as a public item assembly.

So close, I can't make a timer like that without some kind of tally counter or could shut delay gates off with a signal instead of resetting them. Something for the suggestions forum I guess.

Oo I hadn't thought of a watering timer, they got the perfect light for it too, I was just gonna toss some cosmetics up, I'll need to downgrade the loot cabinet in airlock access to a regular locker but then I can fit a weapons cabinet in there and I've got an idea for separating the unused text panel in a way that even makes space for more of them, I'll get right on that.

As far as I know periscopes are all you can use to look through cameras so if it doesn't feel right being crammed in that makes sense. When it comes to the glass background it was more for the visual stimulus of the background moving to make the room look less stale while still keeping the aesthetic and less about the external light, also if you want the room to feel more designed for plants and less like it's just a room with plants in it a timer system to show when plants need watered would be good. Finally, the text display being left for players to personalize is a good idea but I think it should be on the top or bottom of the displays to show that it is separate from the rest and looks more like it is meant to be personalized and less like it doesn't work. I figured the unused text box could be for personalizing, for example I was going to put "Intruder" on it and set up buzzers under it that lead to motion detectors I installed in-game, but thought someone else might like something else there.

I almost put glass in the greenhouse when I realized they're never gonna see any light, so it looking bare has a purpose, even if it's just for looks, less cracks and creases makes it easy to keep clean so nothing infects the plants, and if any grow out of control they won't find as much purchase to pry at, suppose I could try to find some deco to put on the wall though now that you mention it.

I hope this clears things up and even though it didn't lead to many changes I appreciate the feedback

I'm glad you enjoy it.

I did consider putting cameras inside the sub but I couldn't think of anywhere to put the periscope for them, is there something smaller to hook them up to? If so let me know.

The oxygen generator room is supposed to double as the armory and was put there because it has a fire suppression system for the explosives. Also the other secure cab is for tools I just didn't like the idea of unlocked tools being right outside the brig, not much point in locking that hatch if I'm practically gonna hand them a crowbar and plasma cutter. A weapons cab in the airlock sounds like a good idea, I've just been putting them in with the diving gear.

I made the containment room because I had the extra space after remodeling the docking hatch, needed to keep it for the discharge coil and a friend told me some pets hate light, debating with myself whether it needs to be secure though.

Overall: Very quality sub with few to no issues while at the same time not being overpowered and boring, I have yet to test the handling tho I am sure it will be fine

After messing around with the sub a few things:
- The repair room and indicators are very clean and well done
- The motion sensor lights are nice and make entering rooms feel cool
- The drainage gap between the reactor room and oxygen room adds a surprising amount of
shape and makes moving around the sub feel very nice, same goes for the ballasts being
separate
- Wiring is very clean
- The discharge coil system feels very nice and fun to use much more enjoyable than motion
sensors with lights and buttons

Recommendations:
- A text display in the navigation room is unused and should be set up or removed, I suggest a
display that shows the power percentage out from the reactor so that the captain can relay
information on when the fuel rods need to be replaced
- The containment room feels wasteful and could at least use some light decoration
- Despite the nice lights the greenhouse feels very bare when nothing is fully grown a glass
background wall may help with this although I'm sure there are better options
- Despite the sub being an attack sub although It has two lock boxes it appears to completely lack
an armory(this may be a good use of the empty containment room considering how close it is to
the airlock)
- Very very opinion based and optional suggestion but a camera in the reactor room or brig
viewable from the command room would be nice

Very Creative and good looking sub especially for your first one so I'll def have to try this out on a few runs and see if there is anything wrong with it
