The big stick in ED shipyards military lineup, the Ambuscade class is heavyly armored and loaded with large and medium turret mounts as well as a coaxial mount. Hangars for light fighters or support craft add to its abilities.
While providing large amounts of firepower and protection, it is however quite expensive to built and opperate.
