Welcome to the bestiary, museum of the grotesque and bizarre! I've recorded here all that I know about the creatures you can find in this dark maze.

The normal rooms can be divided into 3 areas: nest(1-6), swamp(7-10) and ruins(11-15+). But it's important to note that it is not a hard barrier, and some creatures will bleed out in other places.

The stats shown here represent the normal mode versions, along (medium) and [hard] ones. There are also Luminous alts for most creatures, with highly increased stats, only in the Light path.

Spoilers abound! Note that it will only show the creatures recorded in the in-game Bestiary.

Explodes on death. Will follow the player through the closest direction, once it is close, arms itself to blow up the next turn.

Harmless until explosion, I recommend passing by them so they set off safely from you while damaging other creatures. Be careful of not running into more exploders by doing so.

Poison, knockback, splash and freezing are all very effective against such creatures.

Often found in the Volatile and A Careful Maneuvre rooms. Spawned by Fire Breed.
Firehive

Scrounger

The most prized creature for hunt for. Will move towards the main exit (not side ones) every 3 turns, then leaves the room.

Drops a healing potion (small or big), a random +1 stat upgrade, and 1 extra randomly chosen from the previous two.

The highest priority target when a room is entered. Plan in advance how to kill it before it leaves. Avoid shuffling on the turn they move so they can't escape if they're sent to the exit.

Wretched Amalgam

Hunts down the player. If next to a creature, will absorb it and gain half of its stats including souls.

If you let it build up too much, it will be impossible to defeat. Either strike it down fast, freeze, ensnare or flee.

Fire Breed

Can be handy to clear the room. Annoying to chase down.
