Lists the files that make up a cell within your save folder in a file named after the cell.

Why? Ever want to add a map after the world was generated? Ever have a map update on your dedicated server and leave weird black boxes where buildings should be instead of updating your world? Don't want to WIPE YOUR SAVE for this?

With this tool you can generate a list of files to delete (while your server is offline or your game not running) for a given cell. You can use this to remove map mods as well. After deleting said files, simply start your game or server back up and when you go there it will regenerate that cell as if it had never been explored before.

Files are output in the Zomboid/Lua folder on the client end, and the tool is restricted to admins (if multiplayer) - mostly just to keep from cluttering users' menus.

Help! I still cant locate the files that need to be deleted afterwords. Can someone post the path of files to go to? I tried Zomboid>saves>multiplayer>servertest and deleted the chunk data files jin there while the server was offline, but nothing happened.

Im not sure why it wasnt showing up the first time because all I did was restart the game and now it works just fine.
*Become admin
*teleport to tile
*right click ground
*click dump chunk data on the bottom of the list

Subscribed, enabled in main menu and added to server directly. Me being the host wether as Admin or user doesnt seem to make a difference, Im not seeing the menu pop up when I right click on the ground, I searched every menu option and the debug menu options and Im not seeing this anywhere?
Could use a brief desc on how exactly this works, till then I guess Ill just keep messing around until I figure out whether Im just not using it correctly or this mod doesnt work.

are the files generated universal?...meaning i can use these files no matter how much change the chunk had

this is awesome...but rather than going to all the cells manually or by teleporting, it would be great if we could dump cells from the map if possible

ahhhh just forgot to say: today with your mod and total commander I managed to make work CHINATOWN mod in less than 5 minutes !!!!! and all this, after I had lost many many hours in the past days with no success !!! XD

GREAT great MOD MY FRIEND, really IN DEBT FOR ALL MY LIFE. A suggestion for all, with (ghisler) TOTAL COMMANDER win program you can mark a selection of all map files needed, with only 1 click with LOAD A SELECTION FROM FILE into selection menù using the file your mod had generated. sooooo goooood.

@JT1527 I wrote a bash script that takes these files and deletes each file in the save that's listed in them. You could do something like this for Windows or in whatever format you need - try talking to chat GPT and telling it the input format and necessary output format and what OS to do it on (or have it do it directly).

It's in the right click menu on the ground, not in the map. I should do it for the map, though. Would save time on larger jobs.
