Disclaimer: This tier list is MY opinion, if you disagree, feel free to post your thoughts in the comments, I might add them to the list. Without further ado, lets get on to the list.
Very bad
-Sorceress
Sorceress is UTTER. GARBAGE. Her primary attack does incredibly low damage, and has an admittedly useful ability to curse enemies by making them take extra damage, but it really is not that useful. Her passive sucks, extra range dose not matter with so little damage, and if you do try to get closer to enemies, you still wont have enough range, you will probably even have less range. Her level two skills are mostly bad. Exoburst is good, letting you steal armor from enemies, and its even a free action. Her other level 2 skill though, is only useful in very specific scenarios, and is not even that useful then. Her level 3 skills are mostly garbage. Trebuchet is almost useless, and summon elemental does help in some situations, but its the only truly good thing about her. Sorceress is truly the worst character in Legends of Kingdom Rush (As of the Wild Moon Update) and deserves her spot this low in the list.
Bad
-Sylvan Elf
Sylvan Elf is bad, not the worst, but a very bad hero. Initially, a melee-ranged hero with long ranged sounded unique and cool, but in execution, not so. Sylvan Elf's melee attack sucks, no matter the range. His bow attack also does little damage, but it has the benefit of doing magic damage and piercing enemies armor. Sylvan Elf's level 2 skills are bad, he has an AOE that does next to no damage, and sometimes dose not even hit targets in the area, like come on man. He also has a Spear Rush which does decent damage, but can only be used at melee range. His level 3 skills are pretty meh, he can buff allies and damage enemies with woodland stride, and shoot lots of arrows with his Skirmish. Overall, Sylvan Elf can do direct damage from melee and range, but does low damage and has low health and armor, putting him as one of the worst legends in the game.

Meh
-Ranger
Ranger is not as good as some people think, but is not bad. Rangers immideate pickup is being able to run around before and after attacking, and being able to deal out heavy damage with poison arrows. His level 2 skills are pretty bad, he can summon vines which root any enemies who step on them, and can also summon a wolf ent which has ridiclous speed at the cost of it being a full action. He has good level 3 abilites, which a rooting/richochet arrow, and a long piercing arrow which applies bleed to some enemies. Overall, ranger can evade enemies and do big damage to them, but is brought down by his low starting health and medicore abilites.

-Bombardier
Bombardier is not THAT bad, but has a lot of flaws that put her this low on the list. Bombardier has low health and armor, with a very low starting AOE attack, and can summon a useful dummy that can distract and even kill some enemies. Her level 2 skills are pretty bad, Dwarf-Zooka does 5 damage to one enemy, and low damage to others, while napalm strike makes a few tiles fiery. Her level 3 skills though, are pretty decent. Rocket jump is handy to escape sticky situations, while robomb can easily assassinate pesky enemies such as Unblinded Exalted's. But bombardiers demise is brought about by her stats. For max level characters, she has low damage, armor, speed, and range. Overall, Bombardier has good skills and AOE attacks but mediocre stats.

-Barbarian

-Sasquatch
Sasquatch starts of looking very bad, he has high health and low AOE damage with no armor and a decent AOE attack. Sasquatch at level 2 starts getting a lot better, he gains the ability to move a lot faster and also gains some useful ranged skills and skills that allow him to stun enemies. At level 3, Sasquatch can stun a ton of enemies and do a lifesteal attack which are both viable options for any good party. In the end, sasqutch is a mobile AOE tank with ranged attacks, but falls behind at level 1 with his extremely low speed. Sasquatch definatly deserves his place in the middle of the list.

-Witch Doctor
Good
-Gerald Lightseeker
Now, I know a ton of people think that Gerald is one of if not the best characters in the game, i disagree. Gerald is very good don't get me wrong. He has very high armor, damage and health for the first character you unlock. Shield of retribution and his slot 3 abilities let Gerald support the rest of the party, While his level 2 abilities allow Gerald to deal out big damage. Where Gerald falls behind though, is because unlike a lot of other melee characters (Such as Reg'Son and Orc Cleaver) Gerald has next to no protection against magic and repeated attacks (like the troll warriors double attack), with his shield of retribution being able to only block one single attack. Gerald is an overall amazing Legend, landing him in his rightful place as one of the best characters in the game.

-Asra
Asra is one of my overall favorite heroes in the game, but she is just not the best. She has a very good starting attack with her arrow of sorrow, and her onyx arrows are very good at taking out big enemies, but where Asra falls behind is with some of her other skills. Spider bite is downright garbage, i wont speak of it, and Shiv and Hit 'n' Run are OK, while Asra's level 3 skills let her evade and put to sleep large groups of enemies. Where Asra really shines though, is in her passives. She can doge some melee attacks, which is a great advantage in most cases, and she even has an ability that makes her invincible for a few attacks when she reaches one health. Overall, Asra has very high damage and survivability potential, but does not have very good skills, putting her right under Gerald in our list.

-Bruxa
Bruxa is an interesting hero to say the least, she has some very good skills such as voodoo doll, graveyard kiss, and many more. My trouble with Bruxa is that she is just kind of unremarkable. Besides her unique ability to harvest the skulls of her enemies and use them to do massive damage, Bruxa is a traditional high damage, low health glass cannon. Normally i would put Bruxa in meh tier, except for one reason. Bruxa is the best boss killer in the game. No cap. She can do massive damage to a boss with just her level 1 attacks, but where she truly shines is in voodoo doll. As soon as you place this thing down, you can kill any boss in one turn (Except Mor-Ga-Nok). Bruxa is an amazing damaging glass cannon, and can especially shine while supported by melee heroes, definately earning her spot as one of the best characters.

-Reg'Son
Reg'Son is a very hard hero to use. He has low health, no armor and a lot of speed. making it really easy for you to rush him into combat and getting him killed by a strong enemy. Reg'Son is a great damage dealer, probably one of the best melee ones, but as I stated, he is far to easy to kill. This would land him lower in the list, except for one thing. Eldritch State. Basically, whenever Reg'Son gets hit by magic damage, he gets damage reduction, AND heals 2hp whenever he kills an enemy. Combine this with his Vindicaitor skill and Reg'Son can easily shread through hoards of enemies and bosses alike.

-Dark Knight
Dark Knight is decent in the early game such as Krum'Thak's dominion, but falls behind not far after that. Dark Knight has near impenetrable armor in Krum's dominion, and can do a lot of damage to most characters in the game, but he dies easily to magic damage. This is what puts him so low. In the later levels, it is almost impossible to keep him alive with so many enemies doing true and magic damage. Besides that, Dark Knight has amazing skills and passives. He can do 1 damage to any enemies that attack him, and buff that and his armor up with Spike Reforge and Impervious, and he gains AOE and healing with Porcupine Slam and Soulstrike. Overall Dark Knight is an amazing character but falls behind MASSIVELY with his near zero chances of survival against any late game enemies.

Edit: After playing around with Dark Knight a bit more, I've discovered that he deserves much more. Let me introduce you to: THE 10 DAMAGE AOE ATTACK! Basically, at level 3, Dark Knight can do 4 damage to enemies around him in a 1-hex radius. But, if you combine this with spike reforge, you can do 10 DAMAGE TO ALL ENEMIES IN A 1 HEX RADIUS. Did i mention this is not a full skill? Dark Knight was originally one of the worst characters on my list, but this raises him up, a lot.

-Arcane Wizard
Arcane Wizard is a extremely strong hero for being the third one you unlock in the game. Arcane Wizard has a magic attack that does up to 7 damage at max level, that can easily melt through enemy armor. He also has a long ranged magic missile attack that can do 2 damage per projectile to multiple adjacent targets. Arcane Wizard has a decent level 2 skills, where he can teleport and still attack, and freeze multiple allies/enemies. But where Arcane Wizard truly shines is with his level 3 skills. Meteor lets him to 4 damage to multiple enemies next to each other, and set them and the ground on fire, but he can also do 13 damage to any enemy unit with Disintegrate, although it does stun him for 1 turn. Overall, Arcane Wizard is a amazing boss/enemy killer and is a must have in any truly legendary party.

-Knight
Knight is the ultimate tank. A 25% chance of negating damage, strong armor, and a gaggle of offense and supportive attacks. Knights basic attack is very meh, but as I said earlier, she has very high armor and defense for her low damage level, and also has a neat (but low damaging) stun attack at level 1. At level 2, her gain terrain ability lets her knock an enemy back a few hexes, which is OK, but she also had an ability to buff all nearby allies armor by 4, which is EXTREMELY good for just level 2. At level 3, she gets a shield boomerang which she can throw between a couple enemies, and a full action rush attack that hits a few enemies in a straight line. Over all, Knight is an amazing character to put in your party, and her low damage is made up by her amazing support and damage negation.
Legendary
-Oloch
Now some people might think that Oloch is a bad legend, but he is amazing. At level 1 he does next to no damage with his Abyssal Blast, but his second skill, seal of immolation, is overpowered as heck. Basically what Oloch does here, he can stun and burn up to 6 enemies for 1 turn, while making those tiles burning for 2 turns. On top of that, this skill can be cast at 4 range, which basically negates seal of immolation being a full skill (One that takes up your whole turn). Moving on, Oloch at level 2 gets much more damage, and gets some high damaging and AOE skills that can get him out of quite a pinch. Next, at level 3, Oloch can shield one ally from getting hit, and also summons demons and clones of himself to destroy his enemies. Overall, Oloch can stun, burn, and AOE enemies, while summoning goons and shields to help out his allies, makin Oloch one of the overall best characters in the game.
Edit: Also, did i mention that Oloch is immune to fire and explodes when he dies?

-Bravebark
Bravebark is overpowered. No cap. He is a gigantic tank, also having potential to do massive damage and heal. His first two skills at level 1 let him to a AOE damaging attack, and a huge knock back and damaging attack, that do 2 times damage whenever Bravebark is rooted. On top of all of that, Bravebark's level two skills can block enemies with thorns doing damage to enemies in a big straight line, and doing a ton of AOE damage and rooting Bravebark himself, buffing him a ton. On top of EVEN that, his level 3 skills let him teleport him and enemies across the map, and buff himself with Heart's Bark. Bravebark is truly one of the best, his only con being that he consumes a ton of your supplies, he earns his place as a truly legendary legend.

-Orc Cleaver
Orc Cleaver is the all around best character in the game in my opinion. He has very good damage, health, and armor to start off with, along with high damaging and knock back level 1 skills. The cherry on top is Orc Cleavers passive: Counter Attack. This lets him attack an enemy when he is attacked one time per round. If that's not enough, Orc Cleavers level 2 skills let him parry EVERY. SINGLE. ATTACK. For THREE turns. With also -1 damage reduction. With this alone he could all ready be an A tier hero, but at level 3, he can become literally immortal for 2 turns, and also do an AOE attack. Orc Cleaver is truly the best character in the game in my opinion, and he can strengthen any party he is put into.

-Zapper
Zapper is a deceptively strong character. He starts out doing 4 true damage to enemies and having a AOE stun that does 3 dmg to the main target and 1 to the rest, with a nice passive that shocks enemies around him for 1-2-3 damage depending on level. Zapper has pretty decent level 2 skills, where he can strike 2 random enemies for decreasing damage, or chain lighting multiple enemies and stun the first one hit (Somewhat reminiscent of the Tesla tower from KR1). But where Zapper really grows is his level 3 skills, he can make a decent Tesla Coil which attacks by itself and can be infinitely stacked, which also never despawns. But his best ability comes in the form of his magnet attack. He can pull in enemies from a certain range, deposit them from a distance, and then root them. All together, Zapper can do high damage, low AOE damage, and immobilize a ton of enemies, securing him as a Legendary Companion

Thanks! I originally thought Zapper was pretty mid but if you balance his abilities the right way you can find out how good he is - he's a pretty niche but really good hero if you know how to use him.

That's a good point about Orc Cleaver and Zapper. Sorceress is not a very powerful character, but her voice lines are funny and I do like her rock golem summon.

The magnetic trap skill is kinda OP ngl but the tesla coil is a little underwhelming tbh

I do agree with your thoughts m8

Thanks a lot! I think the reason Zapper is so high is because of his basic attack and damage. He can output tons of damage past armor and is very effective against light enemies at max level. His magnet also has a lot of fun synergies!

No hate but I don't think Zapper should be Legendary tbh since he has crappy passive traits & most of his skills are full action. Also I think tesla coils are really mediocre since they require a set up & multiple turns in order to use.

But other than that, nice tier list btw! I love your opinion towards Arcane Wizard, Orc Cleaver & Oloch <3

I think i might agree with zapper, but Bombardier is just not as bad as sorceress and i think her base AOE and robomb let her rank higher.
Aidanya 29 Jul, 2022 @ 3:21am
In the current patch i think zapper should be legendary.
1) has 4 base dmg 4 range at lvl 1. This is very good in early encounters to take out enemy ranged. This is more than some lvl 2 heroes have.
2) gets 6 range at lvl 3 (this is a lot).
3) Magnatic trap ability is OP. Root everything in a 2hex range (this is 19 hexes total) with a 2 turn cooldown. It also pulls them together for good AoE setup and all the epic conditions on immobilized characters.

And i would personally but bombardier in very bad. but that is just because i think AoE isn't as good in a game like this as single target is.

Everything else i can very much agree on (not played dark knight a lot).
