Description
Inspired by Mirror's Edge and being sick with the common cold, I made this so I could play around with night lighting, dustmotes and dustclouds. Enjoy, feedback is heard! <3

I love the look of this map but there isn't much to it. Keep up the good work :D

you should make some more Mirror's Edge maps?

Well, I mean Mirror's Edge was just an example, since you said this map was inspired by it. But just throwing an idea or two to toy around with and such. Alternatively, you could perhaps work on maps that have a cyberpunk feel to them, like from NeoTokyo or GITS/ etc. Such as a laboratory or underground base. I haven't seen any good maps like that, and they look great when detail is put into them. But then again, I suppose just about anything looks good with a lot of detail.

While the suggestion is nice, I don't have any of the materials that would match the style of ME and I'm still practicing optimization so it would be quite a big project. But I'm not entirely against it.

This is a bit late, but you could possibly work on a large mall map. Something like the mall from Mirror's Edge. Big, but with constraints. Multiple levels and such, though with a bit less construction going on and a lot more finished areas, since the mall in mirror's edge kinda sucks with its lack of finished stores.

That's the idea, thanks lol

This looks pretty cool. I might use this for screenshots etc.

Quite the difficult problem, indeed. My advice is to critique and observe different sandbox maps if you can. The very large ones. Don't start off big, but gradually start to expand your boarders as you add in more 'world' so to say. Another idea might be roleplay maps, as those are 'ideal' for details, and they host high play value. That's just my two cents. I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors, friend! :)
