Chinese authorities in Henan Province on 7/10/2022 violently dispersed a peaceful protest by hundreds of depositors near Zhengzhou Branch of People's Bank of China, who sought in vain to demand their life savings back from banks that have run into a deepening cash crisis. The unthinkable brutality and ruthless violence committed by plain-clothes police academy trainees, gang members, and government employees, angers many citizens.
