Map - Beyond Tiandi

Description
===INTRODUCTION===
"Comanche horse archers rumble down the endless steppes of Central Yeongju, as Navajo city dwellers cower in fear. Korean machine guns mow down charging roves of French knights. A humbled pharaoh presents a bountiful feast to visiting Manchu emissaries, hoping to secure a more lenient trade deal.

Tiandi is a realistic, modern-tech, closed worldbuilding and roleplay community. An immense amount of detail has been used to construct Tiandi in a logical and realistic manner--from matters ranging on climate, culture, human migrations, to many more."

===SUMMARY===
This map seeks to recreate the world map of "Tiandi" (as of March 2021), a roleplaying community based on the political simulation game "NationStates". In the fictional world of Tiandi, "Sinju" (the central landmass and its periphery, which roughly correspond to East Asia) leads colonization attempts worldwide. The list of continents are as follows: Yoju (Eurasia) to the northwest, Miju (Africa) to the southwest, Jungju (East Asia) to the centre, Namju (Australia) to the central south, Yeongju (North America) to the northeast, Cheongju (South America) to the southeast. This edition is for Civilization: Beyond Earth (henceforth 'CivBE'), and is thus meant to be an alternate history where Tiandians land on an alien planet structurally similar to their homeworld. While the map's landmasses and elevations are more or less fixed, the resources are randomized; in other words, the map utilizes the CivBE engine's random terrain and resource generation. Special thanks go to nORb Dragon for their .civ5map to .lua converter[forums.civfanatics.com], and to Ryika for their guide to necessary .lua adaptations.

For an immersive experience, consider renaming the games' sponsors manually in the "Advanced Setup" menu:
American Reclamation Corporation (ARC) into Jeongmian Commonwealth (=Korean Homeland)
Pan-Asian Cooperative (PAC) into Mincangan Confederation (=Sichuanese China)
People's African Union (PAU) into Matobo Republic (=Bantu Superstate)
Franco-Iberia (FI) into Meisaan (=Cantonese China)
Kavithan Protectorate (KP) into Gyaser Monarchy (=Tibet)
Brasilia into Yahumilco Republic (=Aztec Superstate)
Polystralia into Namjuan Federation (=Koreanic Settler State)
Slavic Federation (SF) into Nukigurun (=Manchu Superstate)
*Al-Falah into Mennefer (=Egypt)
*Chungsu into Yedal Union (=Koreanic Insular Union)
*INTEGR into Fusen (=Japan)
*North Sea Alliance (NSA) into Jangjip Council (=Austronesian Union)

*Note: The DLC 'Rising Tide' is not a prerequisite for this mod.

===INSTRUCTIONS===
With the mod enabled from the main menu, you should be able to find 'Tiandi (Resourced)' on the planet selection screen. It may be hidden within the "Custom Planets" sub-menu. If that is not the case, you may navigate to the mod's source (typically C:\User\My Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth\MODS\Map - Beyond Tiandi\Maps) and copy the 'Tiandi (Resourced).lua' file to your game's directory (under Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth\assets\Maps). This should enable you to select the map without use of the mods menu (i.e. will show up along default maps).
