Description
Sawyer Science & Engineering is proud to present to you the new SSE RWR (Radar Warning Receiver)!

Features:

-"SCAN"-Notification:

A green "SCAN" indicator will light up if a radar detects your vehicle and you will hear a low-pitched beep.

-"LOCK"-Notification:

A red "LOCK" light will blink if you are being continously looked at by a radar. This usually means that a missile has been fired at you or a radar guided gun is about to shoot at you, since they typically use a static radar to get continous guidance information. You will also hear a high-pitched alarm.

-"MUTE"-Button

This button will silence all the alarms and other sounds if you wish so.

-"AUTO"-Mode:

In automatic mode, the SSE RWR will automatically dispense chaff if you are being locked to confuse enemy radars. You can set the intervall between each chaff launch in the properties of the microcontroller. Everytime a chaff is launched, you will hear a notification sound if you have not pressed the "MUTE"-Button. Chaff can also be fired manually.

-"MANUAL"-Mode:

In the manual mode, the SSE RWR will only launch chaff if you command it to do so using an ON/OFF signal yourself.


You are allowed to use this RWR in your creations and upload them to the workshop as long as you credit me.

Radar is set to static
However it also just started working without changes so just stormworks being wonky i guess

What are the settings on the radar? Is it set to static? The chaff will only launch if a radar points at the RWR for more than 2 seconds.

I was testing it with another vehicle for the lock so thats how i know
the chaff dispensers spawn full and never get launched

I checked all the logic and it was fully hooked up

Did you hook up all of the logic correctly / Did you leave it as it is in the example? Chaff launch and sound are basically triggered by the same signal. The only reason for the sound playing but no chaff launching I can think of is that the chaff dispenser are empty because they've already dropped all their chaff. Also, how do you know it's being locked on if the notification isn't showing? I need as detailed information as possible to fix the potential issue!

When its locked on its not displaying the notification But it is trying to deploy chaff but isnt Its only playing the sound

Thats probably why the RWR is still detecting a lock. The unlaunched missiles on the attacker are probably looking at the target with their static radars, causing a lock warning.

The target had 4 missiles unlaunched and a sweep radar, the attacker was the same model with the same radar and 3 remaining missiles

Does the platform that you have launched the missile with have a radar on it or are there other missiles that haven't been fired yet on the launcher?

It's true i still get locked on but as I said the missile was distracted by chaffs and it chills in the sea 3km under the plane and it's radar is 1.4km max lock, so I don't really understand, try using those newquay small size 1.4km aam.
