A solemn individual tucked too far underneath solitude and lament, he who begrudgingly lent out his hand in an effort to restore and bring order to Penjara. Before his days as Penjara's first Gentry, Lord Segrmel enjoyed a fulfilling life alongside his late family as the Sheophis of Death. A role which saw him bring peace to the souls of those who he helped pass and maintain the balance of that side of the universe. Not much has changed in regards to that in spite of his current station. Only if his grief would allow him to seek out his former love, Ayann, and their restored children. Above tolerating them in the name of duty. Segrmel deep down below the surface has convinced himself that they aren't their former selves. That Father Krein had perverted them in ways that can't simply be corrected. Though Ayann persistently tries to deny it, she knows that is true. That it is also true the only family Segrmel has left in this "dream" of his is Islisuna, Giselle, and Peigi. Krein stole the rest from him. And if not for Ussem claiming the dead Ent's body, Segrmel would've obliterated it. Speaking of which, Ayann sealed the deal of their severance when she laid with Krein's dead and incorruptible body to restore the lives of their children under new forms and names. Granted, Segrmel deep down understood her reasoning's. Yet, Segrmel believed she should have came to him for not. In spite of this, he has and will continue to make up for lost time.. and for that, he must remain in Luasa's, Ine's, and Itrapa's lives. Not in efforts to salvage what his former peace held, but just to be there for them..
