Let me start with a request; please respect blueprint authors. Often it takes months to finesse a build, and to have it ripped and reuploaded without permission or even so much as credit, can be discouraging, often pushing such authors away from the community.

Kataphract HV (p. Cat-ah-fract)

Armament - Reforged Eden; 1x Artillery Turret, 4x Minigun Turrets, 4x Plasma Turrets, 2x Mounted Plasma, 4x Mounted Guided Rocket Lauchers.

Armament - Vanilla; 1x Artillery Turret, 4x Minigun Turrets, 4x Plasma Turrets, 2x Mounted Railguns, 4x Mounted Lasers.


Armor configuration: A belt of Combat Steel encasing the front, sides, and rear 1-2 blocks thick. Top armor ranges from Hardened Steel to Combat Steel 1 block thick. Bottom armor is 1 block thick Steel. For Reforged Eden Kataphract comes standard with a Heavy Shield, and for Vanilla, a standard shield is stock. Shield is accessible from the forward compartment for upgrade/repair

Onboard devices: Clone Chamber, Health Station, Fridge, Constructor, Wifi, 2x hover booster, 1x RCS, and Detector.

Storage:
5.6k Harvest
2.1k Ammo
1.5k Ammo
250L for personal defense storage.

Crew: 2 - Driver and passenger/gunner.

CPU: 60k of 100k for Vanilla, and 44k for RE at 8 core. Space is available for additional device placement to the front right of the compartment.



The Kataphract HV was designed by Phoenix Starworks inc., an arms subsidiary of the UCH. Dealing with a wide range of product orders, from racing platforms to capital vessels, Phoenix Starworks is here to deliver with precision any customer requests.


The Kataphract came into being from a private buyer request, which tasked the corporation with generating a weapons platform with a compact profile, able to board most mid sized, and some smaller capital vessels, and still have a wide range of ordinance projectors. The Kataphract can meet the rigid demands of combat, able to utilize a versitile tool set.


While having a respectable measure of armor, the Kataphract should not be expected to sustain a prolong engagement with the most powerful of battlements, as these roles are typically relegated to heavier siege tanks found throughout the galaxy.

Dubbed a "skirmisher tank" by experienced crew, the Kataphract finds its niche by hit and run tactics, and long range bombardment tactics, via it's Artillery turret with can outrange any base defense when factoring in arcing ballistics.

Experienced Kataphract commanders have found that they can find success against any shielded fortress, by making clever use of terrain to negate enemy fort turrets line of sight, and slowly chip away at shields with mounted energy weapons, when once the shields are depleted, the commanders switch to artillery and pick off turrets one by one.
