Description
Content:

This mod aims to introduce realistic character textures featuring female and male nudity. To increase anatomical realism, male characters come with a new extra 3d object attached between their legs. The changes only apply to player characters. Zombies are not changed.

In addition to the new textures, the mod adds the following features:

- Underwear in the default clothing options during character creation.
- More customisation options for your character's body hair.
- The body hair will grow during game but you can shave it if you have a razor in your inventory. Option for shaving can be found in the Character Info Screen (same location where you find the options for cutting hair and beard; see one of the screenshots).
- Beard stubble are now integrated into the male beard growth system meaning that they will grow during game. They can be shaved with a razor. Other beard types can still be shaven with razor or scissors (as in the vanilla game).
- The mod converts the razor into an item which can only be used several times before it gets exhausted (it will then disappear from the inventory).

I've tried to keep the character textures close to their vanilla counterparts. I only changed the coloring for the more light-skinned variants a little bit. Faces are not changed.

Beside the small changes concerning the razor, the mod does not change anything gameplay-related and is purely cosmetic.

IMPORTANT: This mod contains some nudity and is therefore only intended for a mature audience. However, the mod does not contain any sexually explicit content and I'll never add this type of content.

Compatibility:

- Works with single player in build 41 and with the current unstable build 42. Requires a screen resolution of at least 1280x720.

- Multiplayer (in B41): Use at your own risk when playing multiplayer. I did several test runs and everything seems to work fine but I am not an excessive multiplayer by myself, so I cannot say a lot about the topic.

- not fully safe to remove from or add to an existing save game (when doing so, it may delete some razors from the map; everything else should work)

- Split screen is not supported, no controller support.

- Languages: English, German, Italian, Vietnamese, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, Spanish, Russian, Turkish. Thanks to various steam users for contributing translations! (Note: some translations might be out-of-date due to mod updates.)

- mod version: 1.5.5

Compatibility with other mods:

The mod should work with a lot of other mods out there. There are still some specific cases where problems might occur. Examples are mods introducing new character textures or character models. See the post Incompatible mods in the discussion section for more details.

When playing with clothing mods, it may happen in rare cases that some of the modded clothing items cause graphic glitches when worn by male characters (specifically: the new "extra 3d object" will glitch through clothes). If you detect such a glitch, you can report it so I can try to fix. Vanilla clothes are not affected by those problems.

In B41: When playing with the mod "Improved Hair Menu", some of my mod's features for male beard stubble are disabled (they won't grow during game, no shaving options). This is necessary to avoid mod conflicts. Body hair growth and shaving options for body hair are still present and not affected.

Info for Modders:

- It is possible to use my mod with your custom textures, make it compatible with other character texture mods or make it compatible with mods introducing new 3d character models. In case you want to try, here is a guide in the discussion section. Requires no lua coding.

- If you want to make a clothing mod compatible with my mod (i.e. avoid clipping for male characters), this post contains a guide. Requires minimal lua coding.

@razab compatible with every texture optimized?

@Apoli, thanks for liking my mod.

It is known that my mod is not compatible with Spongie's (it is listed as incompatible in the "Incomaptible Mods" post).

Using the large vanilla B42 character window isn't possible for me since there wouldn't be enough space for the new UI elements introduced by my mod. (I already tried to somehow make it work together but it all looked terrible.)

Moreover, to use my mod with Spongie's would require that some people make new textures which are optimized to look acceptable when combined with textures from my mod. So even if they would technically be compatible, they won't be usable together due to visual inconsistency.

Also, I already had a look at Spongie's mod to see how easy a comaptibility patch would be. It would be quite a lot of work so I abandoned this project.

razab I have a request I would be very glad if you could make this character window the same as b42, because some mods add new button to the character editing window. (Example: Spongie's Character Customization) When the character window is in b41 format, it doesn't match. If you click on other buttons, these buttons disappear. If you could do this, I would be very happy. This mod is so good that I add it every time I play the game.

@razab really appreciate your answer, now i can understand why it won't work. It's sad, but still absolutely worth using your mod, it's peak and the best i know (i know a lot btw :D)!! Thanks again mate :-)

@Tightwad, that is not something you can do with my mod. (But in theory: yes, it possible to make zombies spawn without clothing via modding. Maybe there are already mods out there doing this... but not sure.)

@kollja thanks for liking my mod! I do not plan to add a compatibility patch for the Bigger Character Avatar mod. Sorry here. However, my mod makes the in-game character avatar also slightly larger than in vanilla. But making both mods compatible is difficult since both manipulate the same interface elements of the game. For mod, manipulating that interface element is necessary to add the option for shaving body hair. So there is no easy work-around.

Is there any way to make it to where zombies spawn with no clothing on? Not talking about the "extra organs" but just having zombies spawn with no clothing

Just found this masterpiece of a mod today, it is so beautiful! Exactly what i've been looking for for sooo long. It is really really sad that it doesn't work with the bigger character avatar mod. Surely it's not gamebreaking but it's a shame we can't enjoy it in a decent size without my eys getting musclestrain.
But the mod itself is pure gold!

Scrolled back and didnt see this in any posts but noticed that there is a conflict between Bigger Character Avatars and your mod. You mod still works correctly but the bigger avatar no longer works. Not game breaking or what ever. Just letting you know.
