The Cephis is an interplanetary small scale shipping freighter capable of carrying loads from land to space or back. While not designed for combat, the Cephis finds its place amidst deckhands and space truckers alike.

Equipped with robust vertical lift capabilities, this ship is able to carry considerable loads, primarily non integrated cargo units, and escape the atmosphere with it in tow. Forward mounted forks extends out and allows the ship to settle down over a load, grab it with the adjoining clamps, and lift it to its destination. This load could be containers, vehicles, or even wreckage.

Running just under 2k blocks, this is a low impact ship with lots of built in features making it ideal for survival and RP purposes.

Lateral docking mechanism allows the ship to plug in with ease and offers egress as needed. Under access allows for operators to enter the ship from ground level.

On the rear section of the ship is a docking area for a small accompanying atmo drill. Please note that it is set to eject stone by default.

A keen eye will notice that the design is familiar. This ship is inspired by an as yet unreleased ship from Star Citizen. (One day it will be released…one day…).

Lore:

The Cephis represents just one of the many products offered by [HDI] to the civilian sector for general purpose hauling and transport. On board accommodations ensure a comfortable transit for passengers even on those long hauls or visits to nearby moons for a family vacation. Primarily used as a work horse of sorts, it can also function as a general transport.

This ship was designed as a response to the poor and degrading equipment carried from Sol 3, formally known as Earth when the system was abandoned some decades prior. Heavier gravity bodies in the system have forced the citizens to adapt both their technology and their biology to allow a more smooth and comfortable life in their new home.
