Tarpon Mk1

Description
AHOY!!!

This is my first water mod build ever!

*****NOTE*****
As this is intended for use with the Water Mod, please see required mod on the right side of the page.
While there are no modded blocks, this ship is pretty useless outside of water.

What was this designed for?
The Tarpon Mk1 is a small luxury speedboat designed for fun with the water mod, but also has some utility.

*****Features*****
Vanilla + Premium DLC - No mod blocks!
Gravity Tested: 1G (Dover planet)
PCU: 3,496
Operational mass: About 45,000 Kg
Survival Ready/Friendly: YES

Limitless energy - Once you pull in a good amount of ice via the connector, the vessel can remain powered indefinitely, generating more H2 than the two H2 engines consume. The ship also comes with many batteries, and a backup battery, providing ample power to the large thruster. The canopy over the bridge also brings in some energy, so as long as there is sunlight, you can start your engines, even if the batteries are drained. There are also several small H2 tanks to keep your engines fueled if for some reason you wish to turn off the O2/H2 generators.

Propulsion - The Tarpon Mk1 has a single large atmo thruster for its main propulsion, but also has a small atmo thruster for braking, and pushing off of beaches. It's advised that inertial dampeners be kept off for cruising. Think of the inertial dampeners as brakes. The vessel will drift with the current, even with inertial dampeners on, so be mindful of that, or dock the vessel.

Spawn Point - The Tarpon Mk1 comes standard with a survival kit in the unfortunate event you are drowned/crushed.
Note that the survival kit is not piped to the rest of the ship. To resupply O2/H2, simply hop into the fighter cockpit, which is piped.

Scout/Salvage - The Tarpon Mk1 comes standard with an ore detector, antenna, remote control, cameras, searchlights, as well as a camera and spotlights on the hull to locate and illuminate sunken wrecks on the sea bed. The zippy speed (50 m/s, or 112 mph - 97 knots) makes for a relatively quick vessel to scout out cargo drops, ores, or enemy positions to gather intel. The vessel is not armed nor armored, so it's advisable to keep out of enemy weapons range.

Cargo - While cargo space is very limited, the Tarpon Mk1 does include 4 forward small cargo containers behind the bow seating. Perfect for stowing personal effects or emergency supplies. There is a weapons rack between the central seating. The cryo chamber/figurehead can also hold cargo - and has a sorter to prevent ice stockpiling - if you need a bit more storage. The survival kit can of course be used to stow some materials. This is not a cargo ship, so don't expect it to carry a lot.

Docking - The Tarpon Mk1 includes many magnetic plates to aid in docking the vessel. Plates on the port and starboard sides can clamp to docks and/or other ships. There are also plates on the keel, as well as one on the bow for docking in shallow waters, or running the vessel aground. It's advisable to run aground at low speed to avoid damaging the hull.

Style - The Tarpon Mk1 was designed as a simple test to test the water mod in style. With a off-white weldless cyan-tinted hull, classic blue stripe, vibrant wooden deck, and black/gray trim to contrast, you will no doubt love this classy ride! All readout displays have an easy-on-the-eyes sea foam green on black color scheme.

Displays - While the Tarpon Mk1 can be piloted remotely or from the enclosed cockpit in unfavorable weather, it is recommended the vessel be piloted from the helm for the most enjoyable experience. The helm display readouts have much useful information, and makes use of the Automated LCDs 2.0 script, but can function just fine if scripts are not available to you.

Safety and Accessibility - The Tarpon Mk1 comes with anti-collision lights, as well as cabin light panels, both sets of lights can be toggled off on the second hotbar tab. All cockpits, even the remote control, have identical hotbars. The stern also comes with two ladders.

Seating - There is seating for 6 passengers, and one driver. If you have more than 7 people, you can also have 2 people hang onto the ladders, and even a 10th person can hop into the cockpit, but it's advised you first make the helm the main cockpit if you go that rout.

I hope you enjoy this creation as much as I do!
I look forward to making more water mod builds!
Just a reminder, this is literally the first thing I built for the water mod. I wasn't even sure what kind of boat it was gonna be; I just wanted something that would float! I'm sure future designs will be a lot better!

Oh, and if you want to include this in stuff, like servers, machinema, A.I. packs, etc., feel free to do so.
Credit is appreciated.
