Ancient Virus

Description
A long time ago, during the first dynasty and unknown egyptian ruler was infected with a an unknown pathogen that dated back to 3000 BC. The ruler was put under lockdown untill he eventually died. Now over the many years the body has been mumiffied and hidden. But a acriologist team found where the body was kept and now one of them has been inffected. But however due to how long it has been, the virus is able to do what anyother plague cannot do. Can this ancient pathogen turn the entire world into a group of mindless mummies?

This is a remastered version of a scenario that I have made a while so please enjoy.

A 3000 year old pathogen in a high temperature environment that just wakes up and instantly infects people? If this was the Arctic region that could be fine, but Egypt is hardly a good place for that kind of scenario.
