QuickSaveKey

Description
Adds a keyboard shortcut to save the player.
If in a single player world it will save both the player and the world.
If in multiplayer, it will only save the player.
Useful in large mod packs or other situations where the game is more prone to crashing.

In single player there is also a shortcut to quick load the last save for both the player and the world.
This *does not* work in multiplayer due to this being a client only mod and attempting to use the shortcut in multiplayer will print a warning.
Note that there is no progress indicator and the game will freeze while loading the save data.
So give it a moment (as longer as it took to load into the world in the first place) before determining that it crashed.
If it did crash, send me your client.log and I'll take a look.

@bazz on quick save or quick load? In other words, was stuff broken after you used the quick load functionality or was it broken after quick saving and then coming back to the world later? Additionally, could you share the list of mods you are using? It sounds likely to be another mod's fault, but I'll happy to try and reproduce the problem. Do you remember anything about what you did right before it broke?

this mod wiped all my boss progress for calamitymod and broke solyn, so my infernum-wotg playthrough is cooked until i figure out how to fix it. please add some sort of support for other mods, or at least a warning in big bold text on your screen like how wrath of the gods does :P

thanks!

@MinecraftedMario F5 to quicksave and F6 to quickload. Do note that tModLoader doesn't bind modded shortcuts by default, so you will need to open your keybindings settings and either choose a custom bind for each command or click the reset to default button.

whats the keybind?

@I have skill issue Oh, and, was it single player or multiplayer?

@I have skill issue "quick saving around celestial pillars can cause a crash" - Uhh...interesting. Will go try this out. Which world size were you using? I'll go ahead and try all three, but knowing what to focus on could be helpful. I'll try to get to this next Saturday.

@bielzin5421 If you haven't already, Alt+F4 the game. You'll lose progress but won't corrupt your world save. You can find me as @naharie on Discord. If you want to reach out and share a copy of the world that the glitch occurred on, as well as telling me what you did right before attempting to load, that would be great! My mod mostly just delegates the work of loading the world to the default Terraria code that runs when you select a world from the world list, so I doubt there's much I can do, but I'm happy to take a look.
