PGB-01C Space Barracuda

No Mods, 7 Scripts, Survival Ready

A small Patrol Gun Boat made by the Pertamian Heavy Industries in cooperation of Ferrum Industries of the CFR.

The Space Barracuda was a result of a demand by the Pertamian Defense ministry for a fast boat capable of orbital patrols for long periods of time, it had to do scouting and anti-piracy operations, as well as cargo hauling.

The C Variant, was meant in theory to snipe enemy large ships, mainly trying to score hits on the bridge or antennas or such, maybe do a lucky hit on the thrusters before turning and running away, or it can be used to support the large ship fleet in battle.

The boats were accepted to Pertamian Service, but the CFR rejected them for being cramped, and for being mechanically complex and for having light armor only.

However many factions bought the boats as well as the manufacturing rights, and some made their way to some Space Pirates who used them to attack un-escorted freighters, the Pirates however had their own variants.
