Small Military Helicopter

First helicopter I've made! Originally it was just going to be a test platform to see how helicopters work in Stormworks and test building out the shape of one. It was never supposed to go to the workshop, but I'm actually pretty happy with how it came out.

So, this turned out to be a test platform for much, much more than just the fundamentals of a helicopter. I also got the Search and Destroy DLC, so I decided early on to add machine guns and missiles, which wound up being quite a hassle to build. The missiles are radar guided, and should work on most targets under 2 kilometres away and more than 500 metres away, otherwise they're a bit dicey. The other weaponry fires straight forward, the chopper has two rocket launchers and four machine guns, as well as two bombs underneath that just fall straight down. So very much a WVR combat craft.

There's only one seat, as everything fits pretty snugly into the chopper as it is. Although it was built in Creative, it should also work in Career, as long as you have the parts unlocked and the money. There is a port for refuelling it, as well as a fire extinguisher and a welder just in case (the welder is more than capable of repairing the entire helicopter, it's a pretty small vehicle).

All that said, if you don't have the DLC, this is a pretty useless build. It is very much combat-oriented.


(By the way, most of the screenshots are of the vehicle while still in development. There haven't been any changes to the vehicle wince the last update, and I will update it if I continue to edit it).
