Thanks to nerdlingnation's and Nobody's comments I was able to give it another (intended) try after I slipped through the "gear" portal with a timed sacrifice... needs to be fixed.
The intended solution is great, thumbs up :steamthumbsup::steamhappy:

Nice map - my solution was unnecessarily difficult, because I didn't realize that you could see the gear surface in its retracted state when you were halfway through the laser-field hallway .

Great puzzle, interesting logic, had to think a lot. The portalable button pads are unusual.

Cool puzzle. I definitely fell for the trap of not being able to get the blue cube through at first.

really fun map but you should honnestly keep the exit door closed and activated with 2 buttons for cubes or something because you can instantly get to the exit at the start with one cube only
