My first """big,""" non-side project mod in a while! This faction originated as a weird challenge to use only elements that are rare or nonexistent in vanilla, but people really liked the style I went with for some reason, so here we are. The Republic is about as balanced as I could possibly make them, given that they have guns that shoot melee torpedoes and guns that phase through reality, but I Tried™.

This faction is essentially Heavy from TF2, but if Heavy from TF2 was a spaceship: big, slow, and unwieldy, but hard-hitting and harder to kill. They even have a laser gatling gun that deals massive damage at close range. The only difference is that they have very good drones and missiles.
