Description
Colt Python from CoD: Black Ops

Elegant and expensive, this heavy American revolver in .357 Magnum is a worthy piece of anyone's collection. Variants with different barrel lengths are produced, with different finishes.

Replaces the pistols (model and reloading sounds)

Plutonium has recently added T5 (BO1) support! Which means you can play with some sweaty tryhards with obscene custom emblems just like old times. Anyway, we've seen an MW2 revolver on BO1 animations, now let's see it the other way around. Azhe (link in the credits) made some cool dual revolvers for the Magnum slot, so with some weightlists magic I've made two versions of the firing animation to separate the guns. Pistol A is a regular 6" Python, Pistol B is a 2.5" snub nosed one. The "inspect" animations seen as part of item pickup are also used as "fidget" animations which means they will randomly trigger on idle, and the dual version also has a 10% chance of it triggering on deploy. I also used the world model from Blops as "LOD 15" so it probably makes a slight performance increase which you will never notice if you're one of those people that have 100+ 4K RNG mods installed. Oh, and the sights glow in the dark, perhaps even too much.

I remember those. I did want to make a version of my own, especially considering I have a "fixed" version of those anims that I used for other mods.

Think you could port the colts? The closest we had was a retexture of the BO2 ones but those are stuck with those annoying Coach fireaxe grunts and some animations that are too slow for my liking.

It's a model replacement, which does not alter stats. You would have to use a script mod for that.
