Captain Hook's Logo (read description)

No need to sub for this mod. Please fav and like if you want to though! However, this is a very easy mod to apply and I will give 10 simple instructions even a newbie can do.

If you're familiar with the video game files, you can skip the instructions and simply replace the red hook logo image with the image shown in the preview by saving it to your computer. Be sure to backup your files.

This mod is just a funny mod that replaces the Red Hook's logo with a more seemingly fitting Hook in red. ;)

GETTING STARTED
Things you just need to do to be ready (skip if you already know the in's and out's of the game files):
1. Right click on your Darkest Dungeon game in your library, hover over "Manage" and click "Browse Local Files".

2. Press Ctrl-A to select all files and copy them with Ctrl-C and then Ctrl-V to paste them all in a New Folder in the Downloads of your computer. (This is so you always have your original game files. If you decide you'd like to revert everything, you can simply copy all the files you put in New Folder and paste them all into the DD game's local folder (make sure to click "Replace all files" when you decide to do this )

3. Go back to the game's original files and look for " fx " folder to click and go inside it.

4. Look for a folder called "red_hook_logo" and click inside.

5. You found the the official red hook logo art! Leave this open in the background.


APPLYING THIS MOD
Darkest Dungeon doesn't support Steam mods that wish to alter its fx files, so follow these easy steps below:
1. Open the image I put in this mod by clicking it and RIGHT clicking to choose "Save image...".

2. Save to Downloads with it named as "red_hook_logo.sprite.png".

3. Open Downloads in a new tab. (You can do this by right clicking file explorer and then clicking Downloads on the opened menu. Or you can choose "File Explorer" to open a new tab to go to Downloads)

4. Click or hover over the file without opening and press CTRL-C again.

5. Paste with CTRL-V into the tab I had you keep open in the background and choose "replace all files" when it asks or lets you know there is already a file in there.

DONE! If you did it right, Captain Hook will greet you next time you play your game. :)
