Nodamians

One of the few factions I've made so far with actual LORE. The Nodamians used to be Terrans thousands of years ago, when humanity was first experimenting with space travel. The first Nodamian ship was meant to be a generation ship, traveling at sublight speed to a nearby star. However, in that time the people aboard this ship discovered FTL tech themselves, and created an entirely new culture. Modern Nodamians and Terrans have all but forgotten their shared ancestry, and can often be seen squabbling over borders.

This is a fairly powerful faction, but as with all of my mods it is still vanilla balanced. They have good armor, rotating thrusters, good shields, and a (to my knowledge) unique energy system: energy is generated by military housing (blue windows) and stored in reactors. Reactors consume R, which can be generated by civilian housing (yellow windows.) Other than this, their weapons are fairly standard; they have a basic high RoF cannon, long-range laser cannon, powerful point defense, two kinds of missiles, agile laser drones, and a fragmagic flamethrower.
