I can tell you how to fix it: Stop using massively outdated mods with WH3
Occasionally, units mods may continue to work after CA pushed an update, but to run even such a simple unit mod 1,5 years after it was uploaded to Steam is basically asking for trouble. I don't recommend it.
When a larger version jump - like recently for 5.0 - comes around, modding ceases to exist for a few days while all modders update their mods for the version - in such a times, I would only add mods that explicitly say "ready for 5.0 etc" either by their author or smbdy who knows what they're talking about ;)
