The Baron’s Castle is large base built with multiple layers of armored concrete and has all the services and amenities that any lord would want out of a castle. This castle was built as a representative model of a legitimately functional medieval castle because it has functional crenelations, machicolations, a barbican with a murder hole, arrow loops, and multiple defensive baileys around the main keep in the center. The outer defense rings have no oxygen support if this castle is placed on a non-oxygen planet, but the keep is fully oxygenated internally. There is plenty of room to park various SV on top of the four towers of the Keep, and possibly CV if they are small enough (or a single large one if it has a specialized landing profile). The ceiling hangar doors are just large enough for average sized SV to be able to access the repair bay. There is also plenty of room to add additional upgrades or storage. The top chamber of the back left tower has nothing in it and is ready for customized decoration. All the external perimeter walls are accessible by foot through various sets of stairs. Despite the sheer size of this base, because it is mostly made of armored concrete, the build costs are very affordable because it is mostly stone dust.

Unfortunately, for chosen design reasons, this base does not have much placement forgiveness and requires a large relatively flat area to place. If unsure if the base has enough support, sink it deeper into the planet slightly before confirming placement. It is better to have to dig out a little of dirt from the bottom floor than suffering structural collapses from unstable placement.
