the glorious joywire, i gave that man the joywire, set him up a room next to the research table, and basically made his schedule entirely work, no social, no recreation, no going outside, just pure research, and since he had the previously mentioned double passion, this man NEEDDED the research to not go insane, i researched all techs in one and a half years, after i researched everything, i gave him a lung and then turned his life around back into a soldier. pretty wack if ya ask me but hey he paid his debt.

this reminds me of my first colony, paragraph time, so i had a useless pawn, his name was Chonatran, and i often used him as cannon fodder, he had a double passion for intellectual (this is important for later) so as we were defending my earliest and crappy killbox (which was wooden barricades with spike traps inbetween) a person with grenades got close and took off chonatran's arm, leg, lung, and various other things, he was basically a burden at this point, he was eatin ma food, stealin my medicine, and not providing in return, so i had a few surgeries done on him that give him his limbs back and i needed a way for him to pay back his debt, (i forgor to mention he was always unhappy too so mental breaks were near constant) then there it was.
