KZD - Kleinzieldrohne

This small practice drone (Kleinzieldrohne) can be controlled via NFT (Newgen. Frequency Transmission) Protocol.

It can be used for simple reconnaissance or as a aerial target for weapons practice. Can also be controlled (but not recommended via remote control).

It is launched via a stationary launch rail directly from the hangar. A mobile launch rack in standard container size is also available, for mobile deployment:

Usage of the NFT Protocol:

Number Channels:
1: Roll Control (as seat)
2: Pitch Control (as seat)
7: Waypoint X-Cord.
8: Waypoint Y-Cord.
11: Altitude
12: Speed

Discrete Channels:
2: ABORT - when triggered, drone shuts down engine, deploys parachute and activates light and transponder for easy recovery
3: TAKEOFF - set to ON when launching, so drone will climb stable to safe altitude
4: HOLD - pulse to toggle holding-mode. Drone will start flying circles unless otherwise instructed
8: AP - pulse to toggle AutoPilot. When Waypoints loaded, will start to fly towards first waypoint.
9: SET - saves current data (alt, spd, wpt) to memory. When 0, 0 as Waypoint is sent, erases waypoint table. If same waypoint is sent, toggles between loop- and stop-mode, where it will start holding on the last waypoint.
