From a campaign of Rule the Waves 2

HMCS Cote Saint-Luc was the lead ship in a class of 8 Canadian destroyers completed in late 1949. These 8 destroyers were designed with lessons learned from the recent Canadian-German war, where Canadian destroyers deployed to Iceland frequently lacked the range to engage in battle off the German coast. As such, the Cote Saint-Luc class was designed with range in mind, and to be a little lighter and thus cheaper than the previous Pincourt and Saint Marie classes, to allow for a larger class to be built.

The class of 8 ships, consisting of Cote Saint-Luc, Sidney, Mascouche, L'Assomption, Lachute, Mont-Laurier, Saint Basile-le-Grand, and Sainte-Adele, was capable of 34 knots and armed with 6 4 inch guns and 8 torpedo tubes.

These destroyers, instead of being used in their intended role operating off of Europe from Canadian-controlled Iceland against a European power, were instead pit against the United States on the North American East coast, despite being unoptimized for that role.

They served throughout the war, with Cote Saint-Luc, L'Assomption, and Saint-Basile-le-Grand being sunk during it, but the class did pick up a few kills too, particularly with L'Assomption managing to sink 2 American cruisers with torpedoes during a night engagement.

Unlike my other ships, she is at least somewhat functional, where her guns work and are controlled by the AI.
