Tempest Magnum Drag Racer

Tempest Magnum converted into a drag racer.
It is powered by a V8 2carb OHV Supercharged with the hood removed and the output doubled with a larger size. The engine output for methanol fuel is 1,200hp, and with tuning it can reach over 2,000hp. Swapping to other older V8 engines is also possible.
Peripheral equipment has been updated and relocated to the latest style, and ABS and ECU have been added. The exhaust pipe has been changed to side exhaust. Two fuel tanks are mounted with an additional one for methanol.
The front wheels were slightly downsized and the rear wheels were changed to much larger slick tires. The front ride height is lowered to its lowest possible level, resulting in a forward leaning posture. The rear suspension has been changed to torsion bars and the brakes are disc type. The vehicle's low height makes it vulnerable to bumps, so drive carefully.
The rear seat has been removed and replaced with a rugged bucket type seat. The drive shaft and part of the exhaust pipe are exposed in the driver's seat.
For the exterior, it is recommended to use the Livery "Tempest Daytona (white stripe)" created by Terrazi. It is very similar to this CONFIG model, "Wally Elder's 2,000+ Horsepower Dodge Daytona". In addition to White Stripe, various other colors of Livery are also available.
Although the body and engine are old-style, the undercarriage has been completely renewed, making it a state-of-the-art drag racer. It can demonstrate high performance not only in short distance drag racing but also on technical tracks. Have fun with it!


Tempest Magnumをドラッグレーサーに改造しました。
ボンネットを撤去し、大型化して出力を倍増したV8 2carb OHV Superchargedを搭載。メタノール燃料に対応したエンジン出力は1,200hp、チューニングすれば2,000hpを超える高出力を発揮します。他の旧型V8エンジンへのスワップも可能です。
周辺機器は最新式に刷新して再配置し、ABSとECUを追加。エキゾーストパイプは側面排気に変更しました。燃料タンクはメタノール用を追加し２個搭載しています。
前輪はやや小型化し、後輪は大幅に太いスリックタイヤに変更。前部の車高をぎりぎりまで下げた前傾姿勢となります。後部サスペンションはトーションバーに変更、ブレーキはディスク式です。車高が低く段差に弱いため、運転は慎重に。
後部座席は撤去し、シートは無骨なバケットタイプに変更。ドライブシャフトやエキゾーストパイプの一部が運転席内に露出します。
外観には、Terrazi氏が作成したLivery、"Tempest Daytona (white stripe)" の使用をオススメします。このCONFIGのモデル、"Wally Elder's 2,000+ Horsepower Dodge Daytona"により近づきます。White Stripe以外にも様々な色のLiveryが公開されています。

車体やエンジンこそ旧式ですが、足回りは一新された最新のドラッグレーサーです。短距離のドラッグレースだけではなくテクニカルなコースでも高性能を発揮できます。楽しんでください。
