Real Vehicle Names

Description
This mod renames all vanilla vehicles to those of their closest real-world counterparts.


The name changes are as follows:

Chevalier Cerise Wagon - Chevrolet Cavalier
Chevalier Cossette - Chevrolet Corvette
Chevalier D6 - Chevrolet C10
Chevalier Dart - Chevrolet Sprint
Chevalier Nyala - Chevrolet Impala
Chevalier Primani - Chevrolet Impala SS
Chevalier Step Van - Chevrolet Step Van

Dash Bulldriver - Chevrolet C20
Dash Elite - Dodge Spirit
Dash Rancher - Jeep Wrangler YJ

Franklin All-Terrain - Ford Explorer
Franklin Valuline - Ford Econoline

Masterson Horizon - Toyota Corolla Levin (AE85)

Mercia Lang 4000 - Mercedes-Benz SL 280 (R129)


Right now there are a few vehicles that end up with the same names a vehicles from some popular vehicle-pack mods. Specifically, fhqwhgads' Vehicle Pack - The Motorious Zone and Filibuster Rhymes' Used Cars!. I don't consider this to be a big deal at the moment, but, if there's enough support for it, I might do something about it in the future.


Please let me know if you find there to be any issues with the mod at all.

@Zero Subscribe to the mod, find it on your local disk under steam/steamapps/workshop/content/{ProjectZomboidSteamID}/{ThisModsSteamID}, and you can see exactly how I made it.

Can you make a similar maul but for vanilla firearms? if not, can you just tell me how to make a similar mod?

I dont think the Cerise wagon is a chevy cavalier. I think the Primani is closer to a first or second generation Chevy Cavalier. Just my thought on it. Have a great day

So when I encounter car crashes i notice that the cars that are there don't have real names is there a way you could fix that?
