Apocrypha: On The Rocks

Description
Apocrypha On The Rocks is the latest, Repentence update of Apocrypha, almost doubling the number of items in the mod. Apocrypha has items, trinkets, enemies, challenges, transformations, pills and cards, and even a whole new type of consumable: Floppy Disks!

Currently with mod support for a number of mods, including External Item Descriptions!

If you encounter any bugs while playing, be sure to report them in the bug thread below and any steps that may have lead to the crash. If you'd like to see any additional mod compatability added, put that in the mod compatability thread and I'll see about adding that when I have time.

Note: Apocrypha has a custom built-in config menu to modify the mod to your hearts content! Simply hold down the pause key to open it, and toggle items or categories with the use active key. Some setting changes may require a game restart to take effect.

This is the repentance version, the version for AB+ is just Apocrypha, no "On the rocks"

Found this mod on a reddit post, is it compatible with Afterbirth or do i have to download the outdated version?

I haven't made much isaac mod stuff in general lately, not for a desire to not do so, just because of health issues mostly. I have one mod that is currently testing some balance stuff for a character + tainted version, and I might just stick to that kinda smaller scale stuff for future mod projects (if any) unless some huge inspiration strikes or my health issues clear up.

I could probably throw one together but it's not exactly a priority. Unfortunately, a lot of the ideas for this mod were very big and cool but programmed in ways that would have to be rewritten to fix them for things like multiplayer/jacob+esau, or to reduce lag where there is a lot (looking at you, hellfire), or are completely not supported by the base game and are prone to breaking with small changes (like the custom ui stuff completely breaking on the shift from repentance to repentance+).

That being true, honestly, a lot of the mod is just sort of in maintenance mode. I work to fix any major bugs when I have time, but given the other people working have mostly moved on, and the sheer amount of code that would need fixing to be happy with it, it'll probably just stay mostly as is aside from bug fixes.

has anyone beaten eternal suffering legit? it's almost like isaac becomes nigh impossible when all item pedestals become troll bombs at a certain point

Okay, was wrong about the initial issue! The older version of Mod Config Menu no longer exists, and the *new* version of the mod conflicts with the setup of this mod's config with the original mod. In other words, if you disabled Mod Config Menu Pure, this mod should no longer run any errors. Let me know if this works for you and for now, I'm going to strip all MCM compatibility from the mod and upload that to hopefully fix any issues. You'll just have to use the original shortcut for the config menu for the time being. (Holding P)

I see what the issue is here, and will attempt to make a fix in a bit. It's likely an issue with respect to a save structure change since hudOffset is now an accessible thing and I don't need it in the config menu anymore.
