Description
Lotus Elise with Jaguar V6 twin-turbo engine
Available in: Shed,Junkyard,Auction,Salon
defaultRimColor=#000000.3 h=1,s=0,v=0,Pearl
Requires Lotus Remastered DLC, Jaguar DLC

Lotus Elise with V6 twin turbo engine.
The engine is a Jaguar V6 TWR JV6 mounted in a slightly downsized version. Due to the narrow engine bay, parts of the engine make contact, but this is kept as unobtrusive as possible.
Peripheral equipment has been relocated, and an ECU and intercooler have been added. The exhaust pipe routing was a challenge.
The wheels are slightly thickened and the ride height is lowered. Part of the rear wheel is exposed in the engine bay.
The combination of the lightweight chassis and the high output engine greatly increases speed. Drive carefully as it can be slippery during acceleration.
Bonus parts can be added to the trunk.
The Elise is a light sport that rivals the latest machines. Have fun driving this nimble machine.

Amazing little mover, getting close to my best times on the track, using only gearbox, clutch and flywheel as tuning (+5%), default ratio.
My best times are in another one, tuned to +38%, all 9 gears close ratio, on the power everywhere, less wheel spin but you really have to be on your toes.
However your wheel specs wouldn't work for me, gets the shakes over 100mph and would dead stop if you clipped a curb, tried a few different set ups, have settled on 185/55-15" "A" slick front and 225/45-16" "B"slicks rear.
Still a bit touchy about curbs but way more forgiving and no shakes. I would hazard I put back in profile about the amount lowered, track curbs are an issue for most lowered cars I've found, On the plus side, it's made me a better driver.
