Description

This mod is a mutation, its separate from the realism on the menu, you can find it in the mutation menu

I like the concept of realism, but I don't like how I have to put 10 bullets into a zombie to kill it. Yeah I can headshot the zombies, if the headshot hitboxes weren't terrible.

So I tweaked some code and made it so the guns do normal damage to zombies again. Still includes difficulty damages. Surprised this wasn't on the workshop already.

Setting the following via the Server.cfg seems to have worked

sm_cvar mp_gamemode "nodamagedebuffrealism"

Can somebody PLEASE make an addon that fixes the base game head hitboxes! Expert Realism would be amazing if shooting the commons in the head wasn't a game of chance.

Had this addon for months and never knew it was a mutation, until today when i decided to read the whole page bc after months of playing and it feeling like nothing was changed. and i gotta say i kinda prefer it being a mutation, we always have the default option so we never have to search through our addons to disable it, and it can randomize what map you play so you dont have to choose. Wish there was something in the title that said this was a mutation and not a script to ease the times of confusion that i and maybe many others had.
