Description
This mod is relatively simple; all it does is change the visuals of various units, to make them more unique.
Absolutely no balance changes have been made, it will remain the same, this is purely visual-only.

Description
I like how the units look in Spellforce 3, but some are either silly or could have been better, or I just wanted to give it a touch of my style.

For example, the Infantryman gets upgraded with a cool but dull (not as shiny) Warhammer, and for some reason a bigger Round Shield is better than the Kite Shield he just had. So instead of that, he gets a Mace and a better Kite Shield.

Also, the Axewielder himself, he just has clothing and a visible mohawk. While kinda cool, he really doesn't look like a soldier, so I gave him Dwarf-appropriate equipment, such as the chainmail and a helmet.

Known issues
- Dwarf Axewielder's shoulder is broken.
There might be a solution to this by using custom IK parameters, but I was not able to do much, I will try fixing it later if I can learn better.
- Dwarf Berserker's "Team Glow" is not reliable.
You might see these guys less because of the team colour, also the glow won't work if you use "Black" team colour from my mod "Dark Contrast Colours".

List of changes:
HUMAN INFANTRYMAN
* Upgrading to the "Warhammer" will instead give a proper "Mace".
* Upgrading the Shield will give him a different "Kite Shield" with metallic parts.

HUMAN SCOUT
* Upgrading the Scout will give him the "Warhammer" (Horseman's Pick) instead of the "Mace". Also gives a "Round Shield" with team colour.

HUMAN CHAMPION
* Upgrading the Champion will give him the more appropriate "Lucerne" instead of the fancy "Spear".

ELF PATHFINDER
* The rider is now the Elf Guardian, seemed more fitting.

ELF GUARDIAN
* Now looks like the Pathfinder's rider, that wondrous armour and helmet just fit a non-scout trooper better.
* The Sword upgrade gives it Katanas, instead of that, it's now proper, bigger and fancier Elfish swords.

ORC BRUTE
* Completely changed the appearance so he has a better armour and helmet, both with team colours.
* Also changed voice to "Orc Pikeman" since it sounds much more like a proper Brute.
* Brute now has a chance to use another weapon other than its axe, such as...Orcish Sword, Orcish Double-Headed Axe, Orcish Warpick, Orcish Mace.

DWARF AXEWIELDER
* Completely changed the appearance, he now uses the Dwarf Chainmail with team colour as well as a fitting Dwarf Helmet with team colour. The Helmet has a somewhat-bright ridge for team colour and has darker horns, this is to contrast with the Berserker's.
* Axewielder now has a chance to use another weapon other than its axe, such as...Dwarf Two-Headed Axe, Dwarf Warhammer, Dwarf Mace.

DWARF BERSERKER
* Now has a chance to have other weapons, either in both hands or separated, including...Dwarf Hammer, Dwarf Broadsword.
* Glow has been redone to affect the weapon's decors instead. Also has Team Colour.

TROLL SKULL CRUSHER
* Upgrading the Club will change it to a "Two-Handed Spiked Mace", which is similar to the Orc's War Troll.

You are completely allowed to do whatever you want with the custom textures I've made, I only ask for credits and to make sure if you use them and release it to the public, you put a link to the original mod (preferably Steam, not Moddb).
You are, of course, absolutely NOT allowed to have any commercial use with this mod. If you are found selling this mod, you will have legal repercussions.

Strogglet15 is my friend, he uploaded that mod by my request.

Yeah, I can request him to also upload those two mods, just gotta wait a bit, hopefully it will be uploaded today, if not tomorrow, remind me if he hasn't uploaded by tomorrow night.

@Blackgrowl no problem! I've found out, that the Bandit Spawn will fit this gab for me - there are nearly equal units like the ones i asked for - i place this guys for immersion on some places except of using them for a fight ;)

Anyway, yes Alpha it is possible to bring back the old units, maybe even easily so, but I'm not gonna do that myself because I don't miss them at all.

I'd recommend you get into the Spellforce Discord and ask for help in #spellforce3_mods channel, one or two will help you the best they can.

nice mod! Big do you know if it is possible to bring back the old first infantry unit for the humans? i mean the trainee with axe and wooden shield (what you can upgrad to a reforged wooden shield) ?
