Some folks think Cathay doesn’t have elf residents, but they are WRONG. Cathay already has established diplomatic relationship and prosperous commerce with high elf since 699 IC according to imperial records, there are quite a few elf traders live in many Cathayan ports, and Cathayan coasts have been raided time to time by dark elf pirates as early as -87 IC. Some rumors also claim there are wood elves live in the deep forests of Cathayan borders.

Recently his majesty the Celestial Dragon Emperor even revealed to me in a (prophetic) dream that he already permits elf residents and elf immigrants to acquire Cathayan citizenship, and the Celestial Cathayan Army also starts to recruit elven soldiers in order to repel the increasing Chaos Invasions, but only "Elven Women" are allowed, because strangely whenever FEMALE elven soldiers show up in the battlefields with Celestial Army, the morale of male Cathayan troops would always be greatly boosted and their fighting performances would also be greatly improved, perhaps this means the Harmony of Cathay is further elevated, so for now, The Celestial Army only needs Female Elves, here is their list:

1.長弓宿衛 Elven Jade Sentinels
Similar to glade guards, based on my previous WH2 mods.

2. 木靈夜不收 Elven Jade Scouts
Similar to deepwood scouts, based on my previous WH2 mods.

3. 林海女俠 Elven Jade Archers
Similare to waywatchers, based on my previous WH2 mods.

4. 靈天禁衛(辟邪神弓) Celestial Elven Guards
Hybrid of sisters of averlorn and lothern sea guard, based on my previous WH2 mods.

5. 巫靈劍客(巫靈斬魔劍) Witchelf Daemon Slayers
New unit. Similar to har ganeth executioners.
PS: If anyone knows how to apply 2handed greatsword animation to female elf unit, please tell me, because I just can’t make it work. So this unit uses the animation of spear wardancers for now, it still fits though.

6. 巫靈神鞭軍(巫靈伏魔鞭) Witchelf Exorcists
New unit. Similar to sisters of slaughter.

7. 靈天劍聖 Celestial Swordsages
New unit. Dual-wielding Hoeth swordmaster for the might of Celestial Army.

All units can be recruited from usual Cathayan barracks and buffed by Cathayan tech trees and lords.

His majesty the Celestial Dragon Emperor also gives these Cathayan Elves a new name: ”Jade Elf”, especially referring to those who marry with Cathayan dragon lords or dragon-blooded humans, and the offspring they produce.
