[COOP-2]/[SP] The Head of the Snake

Description
You'll fly in through a warzone, and take your choice of path from the insertion point to your target - a high ranking officer. We believe that if we can take him out, we might be able to change the tide of war.

This is my first mission ever, so critique is more than welcome. Is it too long, too short? Too great distances to travel?

Should not have to have any mods to play this mission.

Forgot to mention, new version is out. Will continue to update and tweak it as well.

@kestrel and @flankerman I will move the helicopter further away in the next update, so you really can't see it from the extraction. Just didn't want players to have to wait five minutes before extraction :)

Thinking of maybe trying my hand at some scripting as well so you need to drop a flare or something like that for it to come and pick you up.

@Kestrel It is because you have to call alpha via radio, it is somewhere in communication, probably you have to press 0, then radio, than alpha, something like that. Then the chopper arrives. It is written in the task description.

@flankerman; that's not supposed to happen, the mission is suppose to end before that happens so I will definitely take a look at that!

@kestrel, thank you so much for you feedback! I will def work a bit more on the immersion factor, you have some really good points. I didn't really add anything "extra" from the base map now, but I do agree with you. Will try to make it a bit more personal and varied by adding music and other objects.

Keep a look out for an updated version in the near future! :)

Hello WazpY here's my feedback, overall it's good, you should work on immersion like adding fire camp into the enemy base, add background sounds,
the truck convoy is pretty useless add a tank on it and like Flanker i got some issues with the extraction, the helicopter was waiting near the beach and not on the helipad

Very nice mission. I really enjoyed playing it! Distances were ok, if they were too short, there would not be a place for your decission how to get to the objective and extraction. I have to say that this enemy truck really creeped me out, but it is good. It shows you that you have to play tactic, don't just rush, but scan the horizon and be careful where are you going.

Now one thing I would change (WATCH OUT, SPOILER!!!!!!)

Was that water landing at the end (after extraction) necessary? Was it scripted or was I just playing for too long and heli run out of fuel? If it was scripted, I would change it, because it is not fun to die.



Other than that, GREAT MISSION, waitng for more!!!!!!
